I didn't answer you because I was checking the ETH pair and I have reached a conclusion. The ETH pair is showing a cup & handle as well, but the second top is irregular due to the recent ETH pumps, which makes smaller amounts of eth more valuable.

I would trade with ETH because it has smaller fees, but it has lower volume

So we can all see it's perfectly forming on the BTC pairing. But WHY does it shoot up afterwards? People think it's oversold and then fomo in? What the hell kinda proof is there that this will happen?

There are established patterns. People follow them. That's literally the biggest reason. It's like asking why we value fiat. The USD is just a piece of paper, but we believe in it, so it has value.

Also, the handle is supposed to be the point where weak hands are shaken out and LINK is transferred to more iron hands who are less likely to sell.(even though the real niggas have been holding for months (i'm not a real nigga) )

That attitude is why the cup and handle formation is the most accurate TA pattern in trading. The handle is created by holders getting scared, and selling. However, you'll be selling to people who have identified this formation and will profit from it. LINK is not dropping to 0. LINK is not crashing. LINK may go down a FEW more cents in the next couple days, but don't count on any huge dips. HODL and you will be rewarded.

C&H is used to accumulate over a defined period of time, you remove buy walls and put in pressure

After you conclude the furst buy off (other people putting sell walls) you let it cool off by not buying BUT you dont sell either, so the price naturally goes down (weak hands included), the place bug buy walls really fall apart so they gradually fill their last bags and when they finally do so and they feel the bottom and there's not much sell pressure anymore they continue pumping the price
E.g: with 10% of their stack they pump and double the price of the other 90% of their stack (after the handle)

TA makes sense when there's reasons for it happening, sometimes its just hazard that forms it. So always back your analysis with fundamentals
