I like Netflix, I bought it this week just prior to their announcement and am of course very happy. I've been considering selling to lock in some profit but tbh the reason I bought netflix was because I see trouble ahead and I think netflix was born from the downturn, so it will continue to do well in the future downturn (people don't go to cinemas, so they stay home and watch netflix).

The only other US stocks I own are a couple of Gold ETFs, Newmont and General Dynamics.

I've got a very large put option against amazon, which I maintain is all smoke and mirrors that investors will soon get tired of.

Up 17%, I would just end my position and call it a day. But after all, I always look for a 15% solid rate in my portfolio. Did the same thing with KITE after a 15% rally and ended up avoiding that fucking drop.

If a stock already has given you your target return I'd say it's time to dump it unless you're in it for the dividends.
