There's thousands of altcoins though. So you need to narrow down the field. Really high marketcap famous coins have already mooned while really small ones with a lot of room for growth might be unstable, obsolete, scams etc. So you're looking for that sweet spot, a coin that has lots of growth potential but has few flaws and is really popular.

And even then you tailor it a bit to your circumstances. If you only need to x10 your investment over the next 6-12 months then the big famous low risk-low reward coins are for you.

You can turn $200 to $2000 in 1 month if you play it right, dozens have done that. And by the same logic that $2000 into $20,000 the following month, although it gets harder as your bags get heavier because of the fear. More likely though after the first x10 gains in the first month, you'll take another month figuring out how to get to $10,000 and then the next 4 months finding the x10 that can take you to $100,000. I think $100-$500 can be turned to $100k in six months of this very bullish crypto year quite comfortably.

Cashing out to fiat is as easy as converting it all to ETH or BTC, sending it to Coinbase and then converting ETH to USD and coinbase can let you send that to your bank account. This is all presuming the crypto market doesn't crash this year and Coinbase goes out of business.

See if they're getting ready to moon, avoid if they're at a peak and everyone's saying it'll drop, so wait for the dip. Check out the coins' own websites and teams. If you watch /biz/ it'll keep throwing up recommendations for new coins and check those out for the same criteria you're looking for. Also look at XLM and ADA which are high marketcap but might still have a x5 in the next month. This game is all about sensing out /biz/'s legitimate recommendations vs their fake shills.
