Incentivizes seeding files for torrent network by getting a small fee each time your files is downloaded, this is some next level shit

I got in yesterday, so I don't think it's too late.

Yeah it's been through a pump already, but looking at the charts, it looks like it can keep going.

On the tech side, I quite like the idea of UFR, but I'm not sure how successful it's going to be (quietly hopeful it will be). I dunno if the torrent seeders are going to want to come across, but hey, if there is incentive, why not.

For now, I think it has a low enough market cap that you can't go wrong. Even if it drops a bit from now, I think it will pick up again if you hold. Some other guy on biz was saying they have a first cut of the app coming out Q1, so we'll see how that goes.

Anyways, DYOR yadda yadda

Think about how many people use Torrents in the world, and then think about how little UFR's market cap is compared to that. This is life changing shit anon, you absolutely don't want to miss out here.

@YFo5oghg its being shilled by a discord group that aims to get it to a $100m cap and dump it all. Literally had to shill everyday else a bot will kick them out.

But why should I pay for downloading torrents?

>> No.6150086

>>6149737
Yes with the opportunity to get it back by seeding. Think about it, you "pay" 1 UFR to download justin then recieve 1 UFR back when you've seeded it. You then continue receiving 'dividends' for as long as you seed it.

Consequences are this:
I will most definitely pay to be able to download quality releases fast since theres such a huge incentive to seed these. The only way to find quality stuff today is being part of a private tracker which you need invites or even interviews (what.cd) to be a member of. This platform monetises on the private trackers and brings their quality to the public. I don't know about americans but torrenting is huge and many people including myself prefer that to streaming services.

Now say Upfiring becomes really popular. The next step is the movie/music industry releasing their products on the platform for a fair share of UFR. What you get is now a decentralised netflix where the difference is that all computing power and servers are stored in a p2p network where the users are incentivized to keep the network running. Market cap of netflix: 91.76B

Fr?

This thing would only have value if it incentives people to seed copyrighted materials. Especially hard to find stuff. Niche porn, textbooks, hacks etc..
