PRL has taken off for these reasons, but the PRL solution is not sustainable as it doesn't reward demographics, and completely ignores a multibillion-dollar advertising industry.

If you don't like ads you should like Brave; you have to opt-in to ads.

Let me take another crack at this:

Essentially, having BAT on Coinbase would legitimize BAT to the point where it'd be an internet currency that everybody knows about, wants more of, and can easily "cash out" of.

This:
1) Legitimizes BAT.
2) Legitimizes Brave, and gives a huge incentive to use Brave in its intended manner (i.e. watch Ads to earn your shekels)
3) Allows Brave users to easily cash out their BAT.

All in all, BAT has potential to become one of the biggest internet currencies ever. It'd solve trackers, privacy issues, "PLEASE TURN OFF YOUR AD BLOCKER TO READ THIS ARTICLE", malvertising, and much more.

The flow will be something like:
