75%+ coins are owned inside china, and a large majority is probably in the hands of the miners. from the start litecoin has always been one of the most imbalanced coins. that allows it to pump to a certain degree, but as you can see from the charts, the inconceivably huge amount of coins miners own always keep the price from going too high, because they're all desperate to get out of litecoin and into bitcoin long term.
