Why is day trading so much harder than just hodling? If I'd just held my money I'd have 300x what I have now. I lost so much money day trading/swing trading. Is it harder because we're emotional as fuck (me especially)? Is it harder 'cause the bots and whales keep playing with us and the market doesn't make sense?

Fuck, /bizbros/, I could have 60k dollars right now but I'm down to 200. I started with 10k in July.

Your picture is why.
Technical analysis and trend recognition is easy as fuck.
It's the cross market convergence that is absolute insanity most of the time.

Thanks for replying, guys. What I've noticed too is every time I lose an expressive amount of money I go with higher leverage. I'm too emotional for this shit I guess... I was up to 570 dollars two days ago, then I bought OMISEGO and RIPPLE and they both started to go down. My LIQ price was at around 13.5 for OMG and I sold afraid I'd get liquidated. Now the price is higher than when I sold by 1.2 dollars and I'm so fucking sad.

I need a real job... There's no way I'm gonna make money with this. I'm too dumb and emotional for this. I just had to pick a few coins and fucking HODL but, again, I'm too emotional and greedy. Fuck, I'd have 6x my original investment. I had OMG, Binance and Adex. Not the best picks, but they all went up, especially Binance.

you started with 10k and you're down to only $200? wtf happened. I started with 10k around the same time, and have been putting in 2k each month and taken out some credit card cash advances and im at 300k now

I feel you brother, I could be at 100k if I just bought and held instead of margin trading like a retard over and over.
I guess it's the, I CAN MAKE IT BACK mentality that eats us.
Let's just buy some good coins and forget we own any, alright anon?

fuck, man, i wish we could make it...
this friend of mine told me to buy XRB at 2 dollars but I pussied out because of BTC taxes. I thought it wouldn't be worth it. I could have had all my original investment back. But instead I day traded my money away.

Reading charts isn't all there is to daytrading bro.

You need to research and manage your trades days in advance, before even clicking call/put.

There are sites which give good trading tips.

Just work on it bro.

Do you daytrade? Do you aim for a certain % return or $ return?
