But they want you to feel that, if only those other people didn't decide to spend their own money buying stocks they liked, and instead had all coordinated in an effort to manipulate the market through derivatives, you would be rich right now.

The short interest is only 7.60% according to the official reporting. The price of the stock is going up because Ryan Cohen is a business man doing business things.

I love GME. I don't need to do anything to see my investment grow. If the price goes up a lot because other people realize that Ryan is good at business then I guess I did good at picking a stock at a good price before other people caught on to the opportunity.

So DFV invests in a stock, makes a tweet with a vague hint at that stock without outright mentioning it, and then sells when the algo initiates unsubstantiated hype.
