The announcement from coinbase was not saying *no* to Ripple. It was just clearing the air of rumors.

They have to make an effort now to avoid insider trading accusations. This is obvious.

> Oh but Anon, they only put decentralized currencies on their platform.

Sure, but how long will they keep that standard? Cryptos are a very new asset class. We're all still learning. Nothing is written in stone.

But XRP, you'll thank me in at EOY.

Coinbase literally said they have not decided if to include another coin officially. Internally they are talking about it every day. Ripple would make them millions. It is going to happen, in few weeks, few months, but it will happen, and the pressure will be bigger if some other exchange includes Ripple.

But anyways, nobody will care about other exchanges when FairX open its doors.

Exactly. They want to add it, it just goes against their current decentralized policy. But that WILL change.

Ripple will put in 2018 lows today. It's never coming back.

Normies are starting to figure out it's a scam. If you are still holding XRP now you are holding bags for normies and you make me sick.

Already bought the dip. I always buy the dip. And I'm not shilling. I legitimately like the idea of ripple.

It's a currency that WILL compete with the actual fiat currency. When fiat economies collapse, what do you think the banks will turn to?

>> Oh but Anon, they only put decentralized currencies on their platform.

it's the most decentralized crypto out there and let me remind you that Coinbase's CEO hates Bitcoin. He will definitely add XRP
Bitcoin
-One company has more than 50% of the hashpower (Bitmain)
-One oppressive country has more than 50% of hashpower (China)
-One company has a monopoly on creating efficient ASIC Bitcoin miners thanks to patents (Bitmain)

Ripple
-10s of validators run by reputable non-related public and private entities in different countries (e.g., Microsoft, MIT, CGI, WorldLink, Telindus-Proximus Group, Bahnhof, ...)
-At least 80% of validators must agree for a ledger to be validated
-double spending not possible
-Anyone can run a validator and make his own list of trused validators
.
tldr; with bitcoin you have no choice but to trust whoever purchased the most hashing power, with Ripple, you explicitly choose who to trust.
