Technically you could bring up to 10k worth with you each trip. You would then have to find your stash spot. Alternatively you could just buy some metals in your new country and hide them.

I haven't spent much time looking into it, but I remember hearing about a case of an individual who brought more than 10k worth on a trip but argued it was less because of the face value.

You can do that. I don't know how because I do not own fuck tons of wealth to even contemplate that but I would if I was that wealthy.

There's also another option. A Trust. I don't know the full details, but apparently you can create a Trust where you place your wealth into a fictional holding that you say is for someone of importance to you. Im not american but from what ive seen of that costco thing it looks to me like a fed operation, from what i know they are limiting how much gold you can buy plus are probably only accepting digital transactions for the gold which says to me 2 things, The feds know they cant stop people buying bullion to escape their system into real wealth so if they cant stop it they want to control it......

1. Controlling how much you can buy, 1 per customer etc
2. Digital transactions so they have a digital record of what you bought just like they have every transaction recorded of every dumb crypto buyer so they plan to come after you years later to try tax it off you.

My advice stay away from them, theres a reason they are/were selling gold for spot deals, go to a coin store that accepts cash and doesn't do kyc or even a private sale if you trust the seller and have tested the gold/silver while buying it.

Okay. Well if you've got a fuck ton of wealth this is an idea on what I would do.

1. Buy property like a house in the foreign country you want to store metals in.
2. Install a safe and bury it under the ground flooring that require tools to access it (like floorboards)
3. Rent the property out to holiday families so you know the house is making an income and have the holiday renters effectively be your security.
4. Go to the property and stay there whenever you need to travel.

It actually does need to be in physical assets because every other store of value has counterparty risk in a time when we are saturated with debts. Literally everyone in the world has an asset that is dependent on payment coming out of tax revenue for a government/country that runs deficits in perpetuity. So the actual mechanism for acquiring resources is not even solvent and can only even make nominal payments through untoward means.
The entitety of the GDP is what we all live & die by. But there are coupons saying about 3x of these GDPs all exist and people all expect their value. Imagine a scenario where four men are on a desert island and all they have is 1 whole pizza to eat. One of the men shows up and says "Hey, I have a coupon for a free pizza. I am going to eat my quarter of the pizza, but I also want to eat a second quarter of the pizza because I have this IOU." Now suddenly one of the guys now has no pizza. And I don't think that's going to work out all that good for anyone. The coupons are bogus and any means to paying them is going to come out of your and my portions of today's pizza. So that's not going to work us either.
With useful, value-dense materials I don't need to even think twice about this quagmire. People with the bad debts will be scrambling to flee to the very assets I own already to avoid the haircuts. And real-world scarcity means losses for more, and all the missing value confers to myself and others who invested in PMs. Crypto will also have people scrambling for the exits as it is a very shaky life-raft to trust your life with.

Crypto is the people's money that the government tried to ban. Lmao look at these returns it's embarrassing i only made less than $16,000,000.

For groceries and such, I just pay in cash. I always have plenty of cash on hand, so that I don't have to sell any gold or silver. It's just not in the bank.
The cash ensures I can always pay even if the banks are closed, Internet is down, payment systems are down. And the gold and silver protects against inflation and other currency risks. They are long-term savings.

Powell actually gave us a HUGE tell

He said BTC doesn't compete with dollars, it competes with Gold. He wants people to give up REAL assets, loans on their homes, give up stocks, gold, PM's..whatever...and INVEST IT INTO a "digital tulip". Since Blackrock and friends are in that market, once they get enough people to dump real assets for BTC they are going to rugpull it.
It's fucking ingenious, that's what BTC and crypto was set out to accomplish. It's the "Great taking" but through consent.

Until Today I never understood why The bankers were pushing BTC until Powell SAID THAT. It doesn't compete with dollars, it competes with Gold.
He wants people to dump real shit, for a digital "Currency" while their banker bros move in on that space flipping ETFs. They basically convinced people to trade them REAL stuff for a VIRTUAL trinket.
It's FUCKING BRILLIANT. I'm not saying BTC will crash today, or next month, but now I know what the goal is.

Why would I only go for a 2-3x on BTC when silver will 30-60x in the next year or 2?

So the "mysterious" and "black market" crypto is being adopted by the banks and supported by big billionaires and you think it is organic grass roots and anti system? BTC/CBDC is the new system and they are ready for the normies to come in and pump the assets now. Most cryptos will go up up up this year because money is risk on and flows into risky assets for yields. When the music stops, the money will move into other assets. Do you think you'll be able to sell your BTC/Crypto when the exchanges shut down due to lack of liquidity, and funds to cash out? With all the cyber attacks, I'm just waiting for a few rich people to crash the internet in certain areas so they can cash out before the rest of the people. You are playing the rich mans game and if you don't get out before they do you'll lose it all. Better diversify your assets and get some physical holdings.

Why is holding stuff in a safe at home not recommended? Is it safer to need a 3rd party to conduct my transactions? P2P is better than needing a digital media to exchange through.

Yeah a 10oz gold bar fits nicely in my pocket. Also why would I need to leave my home? You don't think many have been preparing and have a good group of trusted people to hunker down with? I'm not sure you understand the people who "stack and horde" Farmers are quite willing to trade crops and goods for gold/silver at markets, just watch the many youtube videos,

The buyer will only need shavings and small bits as they do in Venezuela right now... It really does make perfect sense.

Are you a conspiracy person who thinks thinks will get to mad max and SHTF? No, in my part of the USA next to a military base... There will be martial law so quickly that nobody will be causing problems in the streets.

I am enjoying my XRP gains, the question is when do I cash out and get more gold/silver? I recommend people take advantage of they pumping the stocks and crypto markets and using those gains to get more metals. They will suppress the metals market for a while longer as they distract with crypto/stock gains. When all the gold and silver are purchased and the COMEX, LBMA are sucked dry by BRICS then the fun begins... only ~1bn oz more of silver to go. Ride the wave and take advantage of the last of the dying old system.

When? 2 more weeks of course, then 2 more weeks after that... until that enjoy the cheapies in metals and the crypto gains friends, just cash out before they do.

Whore's didn't cost gold in ancient times, about a pre-1964 silver quarter at most but even thats probably too much. The real face of ho-flation can be seen in this article. In a sane society, a fuck hole would never be priced in gold.

True. If one person owned all the water in the world everyone else would be fucked.
Same with silver or any other commodity.
You could own all 21 million bitcoins and everyone else would be just fine.

>Same with silver or any other commodity.
nope, not at all, everyone could still eat and drink just fine
when you say "X not needed", you have to say needed for what
survival? silver is useless, you can't eat it or drink it
if you go one step above and reach civilization then sure, silver is nice to make electronic devices
if you go one step above and you have globalization, you may start to need a global ledger which is decentralized and can't be tampered with by anyone
electric devices weren't "needed" before they were invented, you dumb fuck, humans were doing just fine for millions of years - the same goes for every other invention on the planet
so where are you at? are you a caveman or are you living in the current year?

Corn is also needed by humanity. Does that make corn a good financial instrument? You are shifting the goalposts. We are talking about money, not useful commodities. You don't possess silver because of its conductivity, but because of its mildly advantageous monetary properties (while still being inferior to gold).

if someone had all the bitcoins people would instantly create another crypto and use that instead
again, a sentence like "the modern world needs to survive" doesn't mean shit
do you think "the modern world" instantly started to need lightbulbs the second the first one was invented? you can't say what will be "needed" by the world X years later. It's enterely possible that yes, 50 or 100 years from now some blockchain technology will be needed in order to trade every single thing around the world, so in THAT world it will be 100% needed to survive
you can't judge what will be considered a global need before the invention is adopted globally. The world "needed to survive" exactly 0 of all the inventions before they were invented - in fact, it survived just fine until then.
NOW the modern world would be fucked without electricity, but that was NOT the case before its global adoption. You have to be a real fucking retard to not understand something so trivial by yourself

actually to be fair this is already literally objectively false kek
there are small countries that are using btc as national currecy and would be absolutely fucked if their money just disappeared from one day to another

Yeah I mean you really nailed it. The problem.with crypto people is they don't understand the physical world. Probably because they are under the age of 30 and they grew up in front of internet video games.

Then there's other people that actually understand things like where food comes from or how things are shipped across the country or how manufacturing actually works.

They're just internet people and while they can be smart on internet things they're dumb on real world things.

I have never in my entire years of being kn the internet and dealing with all kinds of obnoxious crypto shriekers never met an intelligent one. The actually intelligent and not faggot people are always gold bugs and then the genius people buy both gold and bitcoin.
