I'm eventually going to buy 2 more Sig P220s and have them customized by the same elite gunsmith edition.

Haven't even emailed my FFL. I'm deal searching for LE trade in DA/SA models, I get a bonus in a few months and may pay for a low 20% of the initial cost of the 2 with it, and pay for the other 80% plus all custom options and gunsmith costs with a side hustle.
When I get an additional, labor related source of income (because my other one is part way passive aside from travel at this point), then I'll start looking.

Rhodium and iridium are even more rare and valuable but they're very difficult to buy and even more difficult to sell unless you're moving industrial quantities. Gold and silver have been valuable for millennia, the expansion of precious metal investments to include platinum and then palladium are mostly a "forced meme" from the 90s. The only reason I would buy such a thing is for the novelty and/or making an elements collection. Buy a palladium mining ETF or something if you want exposure to that market.

Quite the contrary, such beautiful collection should be regarded with bewilderment. Only on this general few anons are aware of a well kept secret : you can actually purchase extremely rare treasures. And they are stupidly cheap thanks to general ignorance.

99.9% of ppl on this earth believe what you have here can only be purchased by museums and at ridiculously high prices. You prolly experienced it yourself, when you display your ancient coins and it's met with awe and amazement from normies. Question i get the most when i do so is
>wtf is this legal to own this? Don't you fear about the cops finding out?
kek. It simply never crossed their mind because it's such a foreign experience to them.

So instead they focus on any generational fad slop collectible they feel nostalgic toward. To think some pokemon stamped cardboard printed in the millions 2 decades ago are worth more than half-a-millenia old thalers of which one or two hundreds are still existing at best is a testimony to modern stupidity. And i say this as a big TCG collector myself.

I believe it wouldn't require much to see a revival of numismatics (not that it ever died anyway, but let say the current average numisfag age is quite advanced). Those things naturally appeal to men, it's just people aren't even aware it exist. If tomorrow few well known jewtubers were to post vids about ancient coins rather than the typical pokemon/YGO/rolex slop, it wouldn't take long for smart people to wake up to the incredible opportunity it is.

>so I have no clue why it's gone up lately, but I'm definitely above my average buy-in now.
Markets finally have woken up to the fact silver have been in structural deficit since 2020.
Of about 200Moz per year to be precise. Which is never heard of before, and means in just the past 4 years, the silver consumption outpaced production of approximatively an entire year of silver mining worldwide.
Thankfully silver was in excess production (no output flexibility on the way up or down due to it's byproduction nature) between circa 2000-2020, with an excess demand blip in 2011.
But it was much more tenuous than 200Moz, usually excess production was in the 10Moz range/year.

So we are depleting the reserves it took up decades to build at Mach 10 speed, with no end in sight (the 200Moz/y deficit is here to stay, and the gap may widen even more next year), and no solution in sight either (low grade ore left in existing primary miners, $0 invested in new mining projects -especially due to new regulations, and it takes nearly a decade to get a big mine running anyway-, non-flexible byproduction from copper/lead/gold mining).
Basically the financiers are reading the signs and are loading up their safe while silver still is availible. That's why we are up. But that's nothing compared to when most industries/normies realize the humongus gap between annual consumption & production.

Crypto. Paper. Fiat. It's all the same thing. Worthless on it's own. Only valuable because an amorphous entity with a monopoly on violence tells you it is. Silver and Gold don't need an authority to tell Man it's valuable. Man doesn't need to be shown why Silver and Gold are valuable. Holding it. Touching it. Feeling it. We just know. I remember taking the plunge and buying precious metals for the first time back in 2009 and there was definitely a familiar, deep-rooted, feeling of covetousness. It was mild form of wanting like on Christmas Eve. You just wanted to stare at it for hours and clank the junk coins around and run them through your hand.
There truly is something special about value outside of the financial system and the correct way to think about your investments is to consider the notion of "wealth". You probably shouldn't have everything you own exposed to the bankrupt banking system. Especially these days. A lot of the people destroyed in October 1929 were trading on leverage. Part of the trick today is that people take out leverage on your behalf. So almost anything you own is already over-bought on its face given the notion that debts need to be repaid and that repayment coincides with a massive unwinding as people scramble for the cash to repay their loans.

On a meta level, the bond market represents a massive deficit of resources and to avoid the actualization of shortages as economic losses, the ponzi scheme is going to have very diligently controlled inflows and outflows. They want to keep their hands on the outflows (such as benefits, pensions, insurance) and they want to continue finding new ways to keep you "buying in" (tax benefits to fund your own HSA, etc)
What this basically means is instead of allowing the debt-bomb to explode, they intend to very carefully ration the benefits offered to you. They may even offer incentives such as if you continue to work for X number of years (they may offer you a draw-down of debts of some kind).
By obsconding on cash and the true/real claim to wealth, they want to teansition solely to credit backed assets. They already own everything and the plan is to rent your existence to you. They want to keep you placated while they attempt to unwind the debts - through some combination of write-offs and inflation.
Count on it. Nothing has any value if people are not working and keeping the hamsters on the wheel is KEY to their economic & financial power. Get the silver while you can because once it revalues you will be in the precarious state of existing SOLELY on economy of scale for consumable goods. You will be an indentured servant.

Hi all,
I have several challenging questions to silver. I’ll post metals I lost in a boating accident as we discuss. Please don’t turn this into a crypto shit discussion.
1. Who is to audit the comex?
2. 410 paper to silver ratio just means what’s transacted. As in I can transfer one coin multiple times and provide a multiple. Yes there’s a certain fractional reserve aspect to it where if everyone demands physical delivery it will collapse like every other derivative ever

7. The main value of gold in dollar terms is its monetary premium as a store of value by governments. Isn’t it a bit conflicting that using metals is a symbol of freedom yet governments hoard is giving it a much higher value? The gold standard has a lot of problems. Other countries can manipulate your currency. Can’t see how that’s a good thing
8. 16:1 silver ratio while natural, but in terms of price (supply vs demand) is a government creation. I support a bimetallic money structure. Two prices aren’t difficult. We do it all the time with gasoline, sales at grocery stores etc. thoughts on this?

What people need to understand is that the elite's interests are ALWAYS geared towards using money to make money. The interest of the masses, which is much more important, is actually in building a peaceful and prosperous society. People don't always like hearing this, but the wealthy/elite have to be taxed 99% after a certain point. Money needs to go back in to developing our infrastructure and creating public-works that benefit us all as opposed to building Super-Yachts for Epstein so he can put our politicians in blue dresses to get DPed on the casting couch. Which is what they do to ALL politicians. Once we have the upper and lower classes all working together to make society better for everyone we'll all be happier. America is basically a runaway-economic elite who want to turn us in to decrepit work-farm tax-cattle. They want you self medicating with addictive substances and mentally ill, and sickly, and in debt. Making you as miserable as possible is what they want because it makes it easier to steal from you.
Once we figure that out, the ruling class need to be brought to heel and if they so much as make an utterance of protest they just need to placed in jail. They are not needed in the slightest and we'd all be far better off doing away with these liberalist notions of property rights. We could all be working 20 hour work weeks supporting a stay at home wife and children if we want it. Wallstreet doesn't make the money it does for free. They're eating your portion of the pie being completely superfluous to society.

Historically, the gold silver ratio (GSR) has been roughly 1:16, but the current ratio (in price per ounce) is somewhere in the 1:80 range. Silver is much more speculative than gold is at the moment, with much more paper silver than paper gold (I can elaborate if you aren’t familiar with the tamping and how spot price works). I personally prefer silver given these things, but gold has the benefit of easy storage and SOVL

problem is, it also works the other way around. bankers enslave people with their own greed. everyone I know is in debt because he bought a house he can't afford. now what happens if banks raise interest rates more and governments collect taxes on every transaction. money supply gets smaller. and banks want their security. so they say: pay higher interests on the loan your have previously taken or pay the whole sum back (which you can't).
so for me it is always a mixture of different investments because bankers always know when it is the best moment to raise or lower interest rates (because they have access to the data and we don't). a real solution would be a pre 1866 trade dollar system. but debt is power so no one would give it away for free.

Welcome. Two suggestions: first, don't think about PMs as short-term speculative adventures. While there might be some moon shot in the offing, it is better to buy and hold for the long term as a safe place to park wealth during the coming storm. Second, don't spend money on PMs that you might need to cover expenses in the short-term. Buying and then being forced to turn around and sell is a losing proposition.

Gold in small sizes tends to have high premiums. Better to wait and buy an ounce.

Most people here think we will never see significantly lower dollar prices for PMS. I share that opinion. All signs point to an every-decreasing dollar value. That means an ever increasing dollar price for PMs.

New SBSS issues are most reliably sold through GoldenStateMint. I'm guessing they seem to be their chosen outlet store. Once a theme has done its run, they'll only be found when someone decides to sell what they've got, so second-hand. And don't begrudge ebay sellers - many special themes from SBSS were stupid expensive from the get-go. Sellers recoup.
Check out the GSM site - there are SBSS rounds there now. "Freedom Girl," "Trivium Girls," and "Justice" themes among others have have been around for years.

Hence the lessons learned in the past which ended in expulsion of a certain tribe, then the ex host nation’s economy flourishes…
The modern tricks added in these days in what a previous anon stated earlier:
>make the education system as globohomo as possible
>make as many citizens of the host nations as miserable and hopeless as possible
>get as many people as possible hooked on weed, antidepressants, eat shitty, cheap, plastic goyslop etc. (I remember when almost ZERO fatties plodded amongst the rest of the population)
>modern circus: each sports season blends into the next, effectively keeping the masses placated
(I used to be a sports nigger, not anymore)
>”smart” phones used to create mostly stupidity and keep people preoccupied with the latest crazes and porn
What (((they))) always seem to forget is that their tricks eventually implode and backfire and then the toll gets payed.
Expulsion has never worked and the so called “final solution” only ended with never ending gibs for camp survivors.
With a modern and useful tech available, none of them will be able to hide via nosejobs or selective breeding to pass amongst the goyim.
DNA testing, used properly will be used to root out any and all tribesman, no matter where they lurk.
Of course the next manipulative race/religion will swoop in and try to fill the void…
Rinse and repeat
Might have to do research after the undesirables have been removed to see if greed as a genetic or inherit trait can be expunged. Then we can be free to colonize space!
If ALL the human goyim get completely sucked dry and culled, imagine a planet filled with inbred, kvetching, scheming, insane demon worshippers with nothing body left to prey upon.
Sad, very sad indeed. May the breaking point become realized as soon as possible.
These are very interesting times indeed

Brics imo won’t work because the currency unit they use will ultimately need some centralized control. For example if gold, then one country will have more gold than others. Similar to how Germany effectively controls the euro. It will fail eventually. They’re also mostly net sellers which means they compete for customers and don’t trade much with each others. All can’t be net exporters. If brics takes off it will be just another entity in a multi polar world but not a dominating force without Ww3

As for comex I’ll ask again. Who is supposed to audit it. Why would they? And if so I think everyone knows there’s a deficit. And if it would cause a collapse why would any entity call for its audit except malthusians. It’s like auditing a bank. Yes everyone knows there’s more lent out than is in the coffers.

I have an additional question, other than for good reasons how do we know silver is heavily shorted. Is there data on net shorts?

Nice coin. What is that? I’m still fairly new to the game. Love old coins. I stack old silver aesthetics unfortunately I keep losing them so I have none. Silly me.

For example Turkey had a currency crisis in recent years. They sold gold to buy back and prop up their currency. This dropped the global price for gold. If your currency is valued in gold your currency is worth less.

A country can post fake articles about 6 gorillion ounces of gold in a mountain and move the price too. Kek

>As for comex I’ll ask again. Who is supposed to audit it.
The comex is a sub branch of the CME Group. The CME is "self-regulated" but must comply by DMCs rules from the government's CFTC. Normally the CFTC can pick an independent third party audit company to audit the COMEX.

Of course, the CFTC being the most corrupt regulatory branch of the US government, that's not at all what's happening.
The CME Group only give their own reports to prove they comply by DMCs regulations without even a routine check from the CFTC, and the CME Group also audit themselves and don't even give the results back to the CFTC.
Basically imagine a murderer telling the cops he'll investigate his own crimes, and then wont even bother sending a letter to the police station containing the conclusions of his self "investigation". And the cops saying "Yes sir, would you like some cake too?"

>Is there data on net shorts?
Yes, but it's more complicated than that with silver's futures. If you look at raw data you'll only find out most shorts are coming from silver producers.

What difference does it make if one country has more gold than another? It is a medium of exchange. The whole point of gold currency is that it has a natural, physical limit. If you have x tons of gold, that's what you have and you had better start producing goods or services that others will trade gold for or your stock will be depleted.

Turkey didn't have a gold currency. If your currency is gold, it will be valued just like everyone else's gold. Nobody can make your gold worth less without making their own worth less. Besides, any temporary manipulation that might be launched against a gold currency would be far easier to launch against a paper currency. Right now China could print a trillion dollars in paper bills and air drop them into the USA. Can't do that with gold.

What you need is a government that has the express intent of fostering its people as a nation that has a distinct land, blood, economy, and culture. The way resources are utilized these days is a complete waste & squandering. If all of our country's manpower was directed towards productive ends as opposed to placating a debt-based behemoth we could easily outdo the stanadard of living we have where people work senselessly, tirelessly toiling away UNDERPAID in a service economy.
You may have read baby's-first libertarianism and think you're a know-it-all but you are dead wrong. Capitalism has people digging holes and filling them back up again instead of maximizing the use of scarce resources. It is a grift meant to steal resources. In fact, NAFTA was signed and literally gutted our country right before our very eyes as if that was some sort of great accomplishment of corporations.
The one true economic system is not capitalism or communism, but a certain economic model that was the cause of WW2. It's success was unparalleled, so much so that Britain REFUSED to allow German cruise ships from docking on their ports because the happy, healthy German people was unmatched during Great Depression. The elite want to turn you in to tax-cattle and that's what you defend.
