Assuming you hit 7 figures from memes, should you park that money in boomer stuff or cash/BTC?

It's a moving target. As you get older you want less risk. Younger more risk.

I'd say park a small chunk in boomer style stocks and index funds just to keep a safe nest egg incase you make bad decisions with your main bags. Just as an emergency measure.

I'd diversify a bit too.

bitcoin - i'm not that much of a gambler. Hence why I hadn't hit 7 figures from memes. Realistically, at most, I could have made 60k, cause I was about to drop 3k for 1 bitcoin and leave it to grow. Didn't go with it because of reasons though.

I'd go a mix of S&P ETF, Gold ETF, Crypto (not BTC) and real estate. That way you have every scenario covered. Yes you could buy gold instead of a Gold ETF but the spread is higher and its less liquid.

Meme cycle but im not buying murads pre pumped trash.

There is a lot of meme with some good cex listing waiting to lift off again like peng wen coq billy and plently more if you look.

Just look for memes in the 1m to 100m with some cex listings and it will pump in the next moon phase. GL anons.

yeah nobody on here in their right mind is going to do that. maybe trade into stables on defi and wait for the next cycle while living off gift cards bought with crypto. who the fuck wants to pay what could be hundreds of thousands in tax just go back to tradfi?

Countries are going to target crypto explictly and directly with taxes I'm sure of it, just like Italy (42% LOL) just did, which defeats the purpose of BTC. If you've made your bones in BTC, it's a huge fucking risk to hold, even with inflation. In my shithole country I had to cash out £300k split between two years and have to pay 20% on it (25k by 2025 Jan 1st, another 25k by 2026 Jan 1st), at the end of October, the taxes for CGT are going to rise (not sure if crypto will be directly targeted or just general CGT across the board), so even if BTC gets to $85k~$90k I'd make the same profit now, than I will after the tax rises. You say avoid tax, but for banks to not fuck you, you have to offramp using regulated exchanges, such as Kraken, regulated means tax places get a direct line to your data. I did P2P once, got my bank fucking closed down and that raped me for a bit, it's too risky.

I have no job, no skills, live off benefits, including housing benefits (money for rent), in my little 1 bed shitbox and offset spending buying giftcards with a small leftover crypto stash which should last me until the final tax deadline. I'm not moving country for 50k gain over 2 years to live in another country to pay rent while I have a cheap council house rent in London and benefit income that'll help pay off the tax. Even 33% is a risk for me, if BTC goes down, I'll have to wait longer, if it goes up, it'll have to go above $85k for me to even profit. It's all about your personal situation, I wish I could hold, but I want to live my life now, I'm 30 unfortnately, if it ever does go properly low again, I'll make sure I'm set up in a tax haven or filthy rich before I even touch it again.
