But the more I look at the asymmetry of betting on Oracles rather than a specific chain, the more I realised that buying Chainlink before any form of "social recognition" is early. Suddenly, price didn't matter. I just talked to anyone outside of this bubble about crypto and if they don't know about Chainlink, it's good to me.

I bought last year, and I crawled my way to 1K Linkies. I guess I'm like at 3% in terms of wallets, even less in terms of holders. Still, I don't feel like thats enough ? Because I know (or think...) that some people here are holding 15 or 50k tokens, and that's where the conspiracy starts.

I think that there might very likely be a number of competing parties involved and that the ones backing Chainlink are likely the most realistic out of the entire bunch.

One of the few legit complaints I have about Chainlink is how long it's taken to roll out staking.
Seriously. they announced it in 2021, and we're near the end of 2024 and we're just as v0.2! It's good that we're receiving rewards, but the true value prop of staking is how much is supposed to get locked up as the NOPs start fighting over getting as much stake as possible to secure more jobs.
My other complaint is their opaqueness regarding BUILD rewards. It would've been OK if they never released BUILD rewards... if only they didnt't promise them! But they definitely have assured stakers multiple times over the years than BUILD rewards are going to be given to them...

The beta phase imo isn't in any way representative of the final product.
If staking is 100% rolled out and tokens are fully staked then they aren't going to pay you in LINK tokens because there won't be any available to pay you with so it will have to be paid out in another form of currency at the equivalent value.
