The reason the shills and hedgies are so ass-blasted by BBBY because their shares are no longer sitting in their account at .0001 cents each. They were removed by court order that is in the middle of a fraud investigation and the shorts are unable to close their positions even if they wanted to. They are basically getting walked down to the hangman's noose and their only hope is to receive a phone call at the last minute from the governor to stay the execution. If even so much as a single penny is returned to shareholders then the naked short position is actualized in the real world.
