These meetings are always nothingburgers, and tomorrow is going to be the biggest nothingburger of them all. You guys know they don't actually need to announce news in after hours, right? As long as they notify the SEC at least 10 minutes beforehand they'll just pause trading until the meeting is over and then resume it. If they wanted to announce something there was nothing stopping them today. Expect absolutely nothing of value on either sides of the love/hate spectrum.

I'm worried it'll be bad news which is why they're holding it after hours. This stock has been so psychotic lately that it's hard guessing what the current play is by the powers that be. Sometimes it looks like they're playing chess and other times it just looks like they're just trying to screw each other over as a joke. The fact that the first assumption most investors had when the meeting was almost a half an hour late was that they were trying to troll and imitate a meme and not that it was a technical issue isn't exactly a good sign. You can tell a lot about how a stock is going to perform long term by how the herd moves, and this past week hasn't been a very good showing on our part. Between the constant panicking and in-fighting, the long-term expectations being put on a single investor instead of the company itself, and people only bothering to say they believe in the company as a last resort during the in-fighting? That's not a good look.

You could have the best company and the best fundamentals but if all your investors are weak willed retards that try cutting each other's throats while having no real faith in the company then it's going to be an uphill battle.

I guess what I'm saying is that until a majority of investors either genuinely (and I do mean genuinely) believe in the company and believe the stock is worth holding on it's own merit then I cant see this working out. Because I see a lot of people hold it and say they've been holding for years or that they have diamond hands and will never sell, but the context of that is they're only doing it for moass or a big payday. Most of these people couldn't care less about the stock itself.

Until people hold for years because they think it'd be stupid to sell such a good stock and not because they think it'd be stupid to sell before moass I can only see this being an eternal rollarcoaster doomed to never make a profit for long time holders due to the constant price fluctuations that even out.

Kind of gay to self-reply, but I would like to add that I imagine Ryan Cohen feels the same way. I wouldn't at all be shocked to find out that he actively hates his current investors and wants them dead and gone, because no matter what he does to improve his company he will always have the moass crowd constantly jumping at shadows and pumping and dumping his company. Every meeting he ever holds will be tinted by hoards of people spamming "moass now?", every news article will be derisive and mocking them for even being associated with moass, and every big price fluctuation will be met with "moass 4 real" as people hype each other up and then dump his company.

As long as moass possibly exists he will never have a genuine company that runs on it's own merit, and it must infuriate him. He must despise the hedge funds for using his company as a squeeze ball and baiting the moass crowd over to him, and he must hate the moass crowd for constantly doing everything I just said above.
