Learn a skill that commands a healthy income. Live off 50% or less of that income, invest the other 50% in things that will produce more income, primarily stocks and RE. Repeat this process until I retire, on track for 40s. Turns out how quick you can retire depends on a single number and that number is your percent savings rate. Lower bills mean you need to less income to survive which means you less less invested prior to giving up waging. Get out of debt, house included. Most people should seek a healthy balance of enjoying life now vs saving for a future that might not work out. For first worlders half is a good starting point. If you can't do that either you're living way beyond your means, you need to make more money, or both.

btc and gold have the same problem, no profits and no compounding. Owning stocks gives you a percentage of the profits. profits that reoccur day as people buy stuff. You might be able to make some money off crypto, or gold but it is not a viable long term wealth strategy. Taking profits means continual withdrawal. Continual withdrawal means you run out of money

It's actually over for you if you weren't born to well off parents who know their shit. No matter how smart you are you cant do everything alone, you'll eventually burn out as you'll try to catch up to literal generations of wealth and wisdom. Smarts without guidance are like a gun with no sights.
Id go as far as to say that as a poor/ low middle class person it'll be worse for you being smart because you can't relate to the stupidity of poor people so you're isolated. So you try to navigate life alone. You want things explained a certain way so you can understand them, you want to be engaged beyond what your environment offers etc. Most of the time your demands will not be fulfilled as noone understands you. As you grow up you might become aware at the lack of options available (be slave or die) so you might even start doing bad in the school you hated for so long as you start to lack motivation. You test boundaries which might lead to mistakes and when you're poor you're often one mistake away from homelessness. Your neighbor Kyle on the other hand said once "I wann'becom'trucker, juss'like'dad" and that's all it took. A smart person would indeed shoot themselves in the head if they were trapped doing dumb labor like this.
Smart people are high maintenance and very needy and that's why they need to be born in rich families to succeed.
