Big day today. My first 100k in my entire life. Kind of want to get a celebratory Lego set, or maybe a new phone charger

Hey OP, just curious with how much did you start and your best play?

>> No.58577199

>>58577161
back in 2020/21 i had about 5k in robinhood, through a couple retarded options trades and about 20k in doge winnings, i put about 50k into this account, which ive been pretty boomer-minded with. at the time i put 25k into qqq, 15k, into vti, and 10k into nvda, id then just moved the last 3k into it, and put it into a couple spec plays, dont remember off the top of my head. best play was probably just holding doge way back when, but id bought nvda in the low 200s, so its in the 400% gains territory as of today, so id say getting into that early is what i owe this to.

Grats, anon. I broke my 6 figure cherry around Feb. It's been hovering in the low-mid 6 figure range and I'm not nearly as excited about it as I once was. Seeing my folio swing $50k-$100k up and down desensitized me. It's all crypto so this shit could turn to dust or make me a millionaire over night. Good luck

It's a matter of when not if. The severity of it could be brutal considering the average consoomer is debt maxed, defaulting on their credit card and prices are still high on everyday items which the FED can't do shit about. IMO we're already seeing a major downturn but NVIDIA and wallstreetbets assholes are keeping the market on life support.

The moment the FED cuts rates is the moment you better liquidate your shit

if volatility is about 1-2% per day then you would need $50-100 million to have that kind of balance change. I'm sure you have it, obviously, since you post here. On /biz/. Getting sweet sweet alpha making mad gains. No doubt about it. No time for shit posting, making fat stacks!

depends on the kinds of taxes, I would like to own a house in a state with lower property tax and be ok with higher income tax vs. owning a house in a higher property tax state with low or zero income tax, i think.
