1) "Roaring Kitty" returns to social media on May 12 (Sunday pre-market) to pump the stock. Dutiful plebes acquiesce.

2) At the end of the same week, on May 17, $GME announces terrible quarterly results BUT also files to sell 45 million new shares of the company which will dilute the value of the existing shares. The stock craters back to earth again on this news.

3) Two weeks later, on June 2 (again, Sunday pre-market), "Roaring Kitty" comes back and shows an enormous position in GME to re-pump the stock ahead of the new shares being issued. The aforementioned plebes dutifully make him doubly rich at the market open, just in time for GME to dump new shares on the market and collect the booty from the meme pump for itself.

This manipulation of GME stock appears to be coordinated between a 5% owner of the company, RoaringKitty, and the company itself, to maximize the price the company (and the omnipresent meme lord to his zealot faithful) will be able to squeeze a high price out of the newly-issued shares (and Kitty's existing holdings), before they let it crash back down.
