Yesterday, GME closed at 30.45
Last night, between after hours, overnight /international market and premarket, GME opens over 100% higher than previous close at $64.83? This is why we had so many halts today. Deviations from open price were restricted relative to previous close price.

Now it seems to be happening again, with further rises in after hours and now overnight/international. If the trend continues and GME opens much higher than previous close, more halts are likely. I suppose it also creates a gap that needs to be filled, which could have an influence trying to drag the price back down to the previous close, making more LD halts occur rather than LU. Its almost as if its a daily tightening of a coil that looks oddly like the 3y chart that springs and leaps into the air and reaches the next step up.

I have no idea whether thats a good or bad thing in this never seen before scenario unfolding right now. But wouldnt having this occur over multiple non-market hours consecutivily definitely not be able to be attributed to retail? Not only that, but if it isnt retail, then would it be various institutions instead? Would it not be considered some form of structuring given the circumstances? Is it akin to a controlled burn or stall tactic?

I sure am thankful these good Samaritans were amongst the first people to post in this thread to remind me of my investment. However, it sure would be interesting (and very funny) if BBBY had an injunction filed against trading of its stock in order to preserve its NOL by way of preventing changes in ownership. I would also find it quite humorous if there was a clause in the confirmation plan that explicitly stated, "in the event of fraud", the plan can be revoked and changed at any point. Considering the above, many laughs would be had if there was a lawsuit filed against the board of BBBY for fraud, thus activating the aforementioned clause. And, hypothetically, if all executives apart from Ryan Cohen's appointees were named in that lawsuit, it would seem to follow that he is benevolent to the company, and in fact didn't alienate his most loyal stockholders for a barely 1% increase in his net worth, getting involved in a Section 16B lawsuit in the process.

What's that? Oh? All the funny little things I just mentioned in this post are real? And there is even an 11.8 billion dollar claim filed against BBBY, an amount that perfectly matches the amount in share buybacks done by the board (who is being sued)?

Shills in the BBBY general and on Twitter will spam that the stock is worthless, cancelled, and extinguished. Its not wrong but what they omit is that new equity is always issued if shareholders are preserved. The shareholder's being preserved is highly dependent on the 8 classes ahead of it being satisfied which is called the absolute priority rule. So under the current plan Class 9 shares get nothing which shills run with. However this can easily change if the debtors (bbby) can satisfy all the classes.
