Yeah I’m still most apprehensive about ICP and ONDO. I listed them in order of confidence. ICP seems undervalued to me and I liked the ONDO narrative. With just BTC, LINK, and RNDR I can see myself maybe getting a 4x over the next bull run but that’s pretty much it. I wanted to diversify into one or two more solid coins that I can get possibly get large returns from. At the same time, I’m too risk adverse to trade meme coins. Any recs on up and coming alts I can bet part of my funds on?

>> No.58439958

>>58439315
I checked the chart and saw it made better returns than BTC when BTC went up. That's why I bought some this time around.
I sold all my crypto though except for some memecoins and other L2s that are so expensive to get back that I may as well see if they eventually do something.

The game has changed a lot, most of the good upcoming stuff is probably going to launch to insane valuations. Still, I'd keep an eye on Zksync, the development ramp they have even before a token exists is insane. If you want to gamble a bit more, look at protocols launching around Solana, and older L1s sub $1B mcap that have underperformed but are still in active development. Some Chainlink tangential projects might do well as well, like Space and Time, but again my guess is the good ones launch at bloated valuations.

I took a look at Zksync and it seems promising, so I might grab some when that drops. At the moment there aren't really any other alts I have strong conviction for, so Im thinking of occasionally taking some risks and getting smaller bags of promising projects as they launch while having a main portfolio of btc, eth, link, and rndr. Im pretty sure id get similar returns from avax so no point in spreading myself thin I think. And sol seems overvalued to me at the moment

SOL still has lots of development happening and a ton of funding, I think it'll do well.

Truthfully I wish I had a better answer for you, but this isn't 2017 or even 2020. The old days of being able to get in early on highly promising things are basically gone. I think for a new entrant their best bet is to look at a longer time horizon and make sound investments. Frankly if I was going to give myself advice as a new entrant I'd probably advise BTC, ETH, LINK with 70-80% of portfolio and then maybe to get involved in EigenLayer/restaking shit because it's a new bastion of the space.

Previously burned normies will be skeptical, so things like ONDO being the major allocators to BUIDL will show legitimacy.
