You do realize the gap at 9.7k is still unfilled, and likewise so is the MASSIVE gap between 21k and 20k? Pic related, picrel chart is the CME chart. In it you can see both gaps. Notice how the other gaps you can see filled. Notice in particular the two gaps just to the left of "2021" around 25k and 18k -- see how long it took for them to get filled. Took a looong time, but they did eventually get filled. That's the thing with CME gaps, it looks like a gap has been "forgotten" and isn't going to get filled, time passes, more time passes, even more, and then... it gets filled.

That said though, it has indeed been a particularly long time since the gap at 9.7k formed. But, yes, as it's the 1D CME chart it most likely will get filled. It being a gap on the 1D chart is of special importance as there ARE unfilled gaps on the Hourly charts, among which is the gap at 3.5k which nobody actually takes seriously - precisely because it's on the 4H. When people speak of CME gaps getting filled, they talk about the 1D chart.

That's a misleading chart as it's not log. When you look at BTCUSD zoomed out, you should always view it in log. On a linear chart like that the situation always looks bearish after pumpage to new highs. But yes buying now is indeed dumb.

Don't really care. The rune update will be extremely profitable once we come back like it always does like 3 months after the halve. I'm monitoring Satoshisync and RuneBridge very closely, bitcoin unironically has a chance to take over defi like a storm. This is just a good opportunity window to buy.
