Alvara Protocol $ALVA

Anyone in this? I’m still waiting to see what the price does before buying because it’s been dumping but I’m guessing that’s seedies dumping then it can be organic again?

Ethereum Foundation recognizes Alvara Protocol’s ERC-7621 standard. It’s in the process of approval.

https://eips.ethereum.org/EIPS/eip-7621

“The ERC-7621 is a new token standard that facilitates the construction of multi-asset tokenized baskets on-chain. This standard provides basic functionality for anyone to deploy unique Basket Tokens that can contain an unlimited number of underlying ERC20 tokens.”

This means anyone can make their own ETF fund via blockchain.

Tell me why I shouldn’t buy it

Can anyone just get their token standard recognized by ethereum by paying or does ethereum themselves have to like it and is it rare?

Why isn’t this new token standard significant

>> No.58411258

I think RWA projects can use that, right?
The thing about having a pattern is that a bunch of new applications can merge and work together. If ERC20 was not a thing today we wouldn't have DEXes for example.
I think that blocksquare could use that, or other projects like Stobox and LCX.

Standard might be significant, but it will work without involvement of alvara or its token. So the existence of the erc will not increase the value.

Yes it’s a good potential tool for rwa companies

You should read about what a token standard is.

The only way an ERC-20 token can represent a basket of other tokens is if you have a minting function that requires deposit of those other tokens in a dev-wallet. Without the ability to move those tokens at will, the basket isn't a basket... it's a one-way burn-pit. But giving a human the ability to move all those tokens means giving the ability to rug, and that's contrary to our security design principals. Humans will *always* rug. So this new token standard really does accomplish something unique that a lot of people have been working on for a long time. Especially guys like Reserve have been researching this topic for near on a decade.
