It seems every person in the world forgets that every financial transaction on Earth is made up of two people: the buyer, and the seller.

And in every one of those transactions, one wins, and the other loses. This means, at any given point, it is a basic fact that 50% of people in finance are losers, and 50% are winners. In other words, half of 4chan's /biz/ has a correct opinion about their finances, and half of 4chan's /biz/ has a wrong opinion. And all of them are crowded together into one contiguous forum community like a stack of shuffled playing cards.

When you step back and look at the entire financial market, you realize we need the 50% of losers for us to succeed. In order for us step up and win (e.g. buy low), we need someone to step down and lose (e.g. sell low). The majority result of gains in crypto is luck, and no one can say differently, but in the remainder of the fraction, it is the decision of us to gain the upper hand over those who don't do the due diligence. Those who make transactions with their emotions. Those who inject spite, pride, and ego into their trading decisions. It is those people who sell us valuable assets at low prices. Without them, you and I wouldn't be here.

The world of finances is a bit less dull, and a bit more fascinating than I first thought it was.
