If I were a rich man
The most important men in town would come to fawn on me
They would ask me to advise them like a Solomon the Wise
"If you please, Reb Tevye"
"Pardon me, Reb Tevye"
Posing problems that would cross a rabbi's eyes
And it won't make one bit of difference if I answer right or wrong
When you're rich, they think you really know

Wtf, it was just up $16 AH.

On a side note, why do people say that announcing a stock split is bullish? Do they hypothesize that people will want to buy one "big" share now so they can get more "little" shares later? I know what a split and a rev split is, I just don't get how its bearish or bullish

>spot prices since spiked to 100$/lb and current low is 50$ while median is around 70$-80$ (this has been priced in since)
>regulatory uncertainty on whether or not uranium can be classified as clean in eu
>more funding overall secured if so
>china moving into nuclear to meet demand
>largest producer kazatomprom warned that they may not be able be at full production capacity (lack of sulphuric acid)
>due to geopolitical tensions the west is looking to expand domestic production of uranium

if youre newfag with nuclear and bought into the greens and activist kvetching about dangers of nuclear, know that the waste problem was sorted ages ago and look at france as an example state
>many mines dormant and can be restarted any time to resume production

relevant tickers (long term, youre in it until 2030 at least):
>CCJ (US/canada) (second largest producer and with KAP they have contracts with china)
>KAP (Kazakhstan) (largest producer)
>UUUU (US) (large stockpile of uranium and rare earth minerals mining ops, big potential manufacturer)
>UEC (same with uuuu, well positioned for home demand and export contracts)
>GEV (US) (due to recent company spin-off, GE investors are better positioned to capitalize on nuclear than previously)
bonus pick: Boss Energy and Paladin Energy in Australia, Curtiss-Wright and Westinghouse (small exposure to nuclear, dyor)

notable risks:
>spot price volatility
>aging nuclear fleet
>long time to set up a mine or new NPP
>regulatory risk
>"climate activist" protests

I know this feels like it makes sense, but it's actually counterproductive. Remember, CCs aren't "free money," because if the price goes up above the strike you sold, you're forced to sell those shares at your strike price. SOXL is highly volatile by nature, and if you're giving up the upside all you'll be left with is downside.

Ok, flagbros. Here's the play. Most likely we're dumping. If SOXX dumps below $223--handedly, and with volume (I'm talking big long candlesticks)--then you buy puts.

If it breaks above $229--handedly, and with volume, big long candlesticks, then you buy calls as far as the LENGTH of the FLAG'S POLE.

If it just mildly breaks above or below support, do not buy shit. It's untradeable at that point. What we're waiting for is a huge if temporary move in either direction.

For the SOXL Chads, replace the numbers $229 and $223 for $50 and ~$44.

Are you imagining those scenarios when you would invest? Would there be violence happening in the world somewhere? In your own country? Would there tangible threats of world war? Hyperinflation? What would be scaring you at that time that could deter you from investing at the bottom?

lets say the YSE had a paid membership for 1 dollar that let you act as a market maker for a particular symbol, in which you were allocated a number of shares to provide liquidity with. your goal is to generate transaction fees. i wonder if there's a way to use ads to generate revenue from non paying users which then can be paid out to market maker users based on their performance. by generating massive amounts of transaction fees, they have also helped to generate traffic. this traffic helps drive up the sites ad revenue.

Fuckin hate this predictable bot market.

I longed EU yesterday pre close. Then it dumped during Japan session because of earthquake, making me short it too. Right on EU premarket it pumps everything back up in 20 minutes, all memoryholed and I didn't close my shorts. And now it just pumps again like it was meant to happen, cause real events are irrelevant one day later if not only after a few hours. It's crazy. During the japanese session it felt like somebody real was trading. During EU morning session it was pretty much autopilot again, so predictable, that I didn't want to believe it to be true thus didn't close my shorts.

The market was fun in mid 2023, but since november 2023 this is such an automated bullshit, it is actually quite unbearable to really watch it.

It's not about being profitable it's about enticing white youths to lust for a certain lifestyle. Picrel gets like 50k - 100k people watching him at all times, and he's just a silly flashy brownoid. But the youth watch him and emulate him because he's "popular". But how many of those 100k viewers are even real people vs just being bots? You don't have to turn a profit if your goal is just to pollute the minds of our youth to worship and act like brownoidz.

I've got an offer to buy shares from a company I hold shares in at a discount ($1.225 - they're currently trading at $1.44). I can purchase up to 30k worth.

I've got the savings to buy 30k worth and by my maths I could make something like 4.5k instantly. Seems like a good deal. The shares don't actually get issued until the 15th though so obviously there is some risk, though long term I'm pretty confident in them. Does it seem like a good idea?
The risk I'm seeing is that everyone else has the same idea as me and they all try to offload these shares on the 15th, crashing the price.
That being said they're looking to raise 30m by doing this, which is only 2.5% of their market cap.
Idk, I'm new to this stuff. Yay or neigh?
