After 15 years of existence cryptocurrency has served no purpose except as a vehicle for pure gambling. Unlike traditional instruments such as equities, you own absolutely nothing except a number in a distributed spreadsheet. The tokens have no utility whatsoever and are backed by no capital or tangible assets. I can already hear the gears spinning in your little midwit brain "But this is no different than a fiat currency." Wrong, and I'm not even going to bother explaining it to you.

15 years since its inception and cryptocurrency has gained zero traction among normies. Ask a random person on the sidewalk and they only thing they'll say is that they heard something about a new Bitcoin ATH on CNN. Save for a small handful of tech hipsters or enthusiasts, nobody uses crypto for real world transactions. Yet all we hear from shills is that crypto will revolution the global banking system. When exactly will this happen? Two weeks, right?

Every new crypto offering in the past 5 years has either been an outright scam or a deliberate joke. All one has to do is spend a few minutes browsing /biz/ and you'll become quickly nauseated by the obvious scams being shilled by armies of bots hoping to dupe a FOMO filled westerner (You) into believing a 100x return is imminent.
