If the odds for LTC being an ETF are so high, why is no one talking about it? Is that why it's accumulating up 30% per week? Institutional investing?

Kinda starting to believe the play is to take BTC profits and enter the LTC market

It's the most obvious play I've seen in forever.

>Boomer coin, zoomers make fun of it because they got into crypto with Doge and only care about memes
>Oldfags hate it because they're still stuck on Charlie Lee selling his stake in 2017 and can't move past it
>/biz/ hates it in general because their dopamine receptors are so fried that they think any coin that doesn't do a 10x in a month is worthless trash
>The all time chart has people look at it and go "Lol, it's never gone up. Don't you know that past performance dictates future action?"

Meanwhile, the hash rate continues to climb steadily, usage continues to climb steadily, and everyone's focused on AI thinking that's the "obvious" play, when everyone and their mother would make that retarded conclusion.

Yeah, LTC is the value play and the rocket to four figures is going to be hilarious.

To add, what the fuck do you think is going to happen when the wider market realizes that the most used crypto only has 4x the supply of BTC? If it had parity with BTC, it should be just under 20k right now. Institutions aren't investing in memes, they're looking at the safe plays that ADHD-riddled traders don't even want to consider, but will still net gigantic profits in the long run. LTC's screaming at them right now and they're probably rubbing their hands constantly while they look at the fundamentals of it.

yeah everything on /biz/ is memecoins or bots and real threads always get slid kek.

This is exactly what I think. It's complete boomer bait, and when they skimthrough the cryptocurrency ETF returns and see LTC at 7b marketcap delivering higher returns than BTC it'll be the obvious next big one. Could be complete cope but my Dad doesn't know shit about crypto but invests and said that he'd heard on national radio about "bitcoin light coins". Name recognition and all, just won't be surprised when it megapumps.

My feeling is that it'll end up setting at around 0.01BTC, after a blow off top from the hype from people fomoing and thinking it'll actually get to .25.

LTC is great for dodging fees, I use it all the time when moving stuff around because the fees are basically nothing compared to BTC and it's also super fast.
I love Litecoin I won't hear a bad word said against it.
Unironically digital silver except it actually pumps.

Bought btc at 68k and just before it dumped I also bought Satoshisync. I was ready to play the long BTC game but all threads related to LTC have no copium or extrapolation or whatever you guys do make a good argument. I don't know if I fucked up. If btc hits 70k and LTC is still at a good price by then I'll for sure make the switch.

My father once told me "If you're thinking something, chances are a lot of people have already had the same thought". In other words yes, the chances of LTC hitting 1k are significantly higher than BTC hitting 700,000. It also has nearly no downside, its support is bedrock solid below 80 its unrealistic that the next bear market bottom is below that or even 100. Even just longing it 2-1, as if you could possibly get liqd on that ever.

If institutions are coming in, LTC etf is the obvious next. Litecoin reaching 15k at current btc price would be logical.

The hype is that it's the coin doing what crypto was meant to be. BTC's too slow and bloated to actually be used day to day, it's cemented itself as digital gold. LTC has shown itself to be BTC, but with the speed people would expect for transactions, the same PoW algorithm and security, and the same decentralization. It's simple, easy to understand and use, that people don't even think much about it. They just swap to it to buy something or transfer funds. The value comes from it being a prime and simple target for an ETF, boomers and people suddenly realizing how cheap it is based on the mcap, usage, and popularity, and the price correcting to reflect that.

The actual price should be close to 10k per LTC. Not saying it'll actually hit that, but it's going to at the very least 10x from here. It's the safest 10x you could possibly buy I'd say.

>hashrate
It's payout is net negative (less than doge) and was probably before the halving too. Since LTC/Doge does merged mining I'm curious if their hashrate data is skewed, ie adding full merged mining rate to single. It just makes no sense why so many would be mining, and more are joining, when setting up a LTC mining operation is a net negative business venture.
Unless it's gearing up for the pump of a lifetime...

I mine it on an old rig (not just the pool in pic related, also another one. autoswitches whichever is most profitable) for a few months now.

It is worth it when you consider the amount that you mine will be worth 10x the price by the time you sell. It's all spec mining. If you're mining for current prices like BTC it's just retarded because you can't compete against chang and his 100,000 rig of asics
