I listened and bought a shitload of AERO. Sold for a 2x (bought 9 cents, sold average 20 cents). Felt like shit as it went 10x from there. I knew it was good but wanted to flip Base memes instead of holding. After it mooned to $2, I threw all of the Basechain money I made into VELO (same team). Knew a bunch of people would be thinking the same thing after missing out. Ended up making most of what I would've made holding AERO, so it worked out.

Only question now, is do I hold AERO or VELO long term? I figure both go over 1B cap before the end of the run. Aerodrome has the basechain narrative and more volume/hype. But Velodrome and the whole Optimism Superchain thing might be bigger in the end.

Why is Solidly V2 such shit compared to aero velo and so many other ve(3,3) forks. Here, we have an instance where the forks outperform the first mover.
Is it simply that the successful forks deployed to nascent L2s with little dex competition, whilst solidly started from way behind the pack on mainnet?
Are there updates to the solidly v2 code that improved the performance of the successful forks? If so, what Specifically?
