Can I just say that I hate chairs with rollers on the bottom? Not only do you have to buy the chair, you also have to buy a plastic mat to put under the chair to protect the floor. The reason being that the roller wheels destroy everything they touch. They destroy your carpet, your toes, your cables, the fucking floor. Have fun running over your headphone cable every time you get up to take a piss. God forbid you lean over and the fucker topples over like a golf cart. Spinning or rocking back and forth in a chair is also entirely unnecessary. You are just giving up back support and putting all of that extra pressure on your ass cheeks. The armrests are also fucking annoying. You want to get into or out of your chair? The one you have to sit in to access your computer? Have fun pulling it out, then swiveling, then sitting down, then swiveling again, then moving the entire chair. Better hope the wheels don't dig a hole into the protective lining or run over you foot again. Oh, you want to push in the chair? Impossible. The armrests stop you from doing so. Also don't put you chair too high or you will crush your fingers between the armrests and the table (have fun trying not to swivel into that position since you can't control the swiveling). And if this fucker ever breaks, your asshole is directly above a metal spike which will definitely impale you. Never forget that. And never forget that this piece of shit costs $2000. You're better off with a goddamn wooden chair from Home Depot.

>> No.58182810

>>58182477
These ridiculous 'ergonomic' chairs are a total meme. My old office had the most simple square fabric chairs and they were easily the most comfortable I have ever used. All the extra support from fancy chairs just keeps you unnaturally locked in place which is what causes pain. Arm rests especially are total garbage and interfere with the rest of your posture when writing or using a computer

I've also got Embody last December for a similar amount, mostly because I couldn't find anything better for a reasonable amount of money.
For a 1000+ EUR chair it has atrocious hand-rests, creaks way too much if sitting cross-legged, and lacks the option to lock the back in place when tilted.
Can't say I'm very happy, but at least this chair will last more than two years, right?
