More than you'd think actually, I have enough to have a margin of at least 20% because my living expenses are so cheap. And I already have $10k circulating in the market so at least I can get a little from that and hone trading skills and knowledge. But the margin usually gets taken by some unexpected expense (goddamn car repairs) so in reality I rarely actually do deposits.
Waiting patiently until I'm working and the situation will get a lot better undoubtedly, unless I fucking hate the work lol

Nobody likes a leech but it's certainly better that they start investing young even if only a tiny amount instead of spending the money in useless stuff, many parents won't teach their kids anything about finances anyway so they have to learn on their own
