When do you know you've become a bitcoin maxi?

>> No.58174120

>>58174050
After my transition.

>> No.58174222

It's just the unease of holding shitcoins that take its toll eventually. Of course there are pathetic losers with 2% of their net worth in crypto talking about how their shitcoin is going to make them rich, but anyone who is actually invested (100% of net worth) know that BTC is the only viable option.

Perhaps the most orangepilling experience for a newfag is buying X amount of btc and Y amount of shitcoin and then slowly watching the pie chart obscure in their crypto wallet. Inveivatbly, they will be faced with the realisation that their shitcoin is tanking in value against btc.

Will they flee to another degenerate shitcoin and keep the villages fed? Or will they cut their losses and become a maxi?

Hear me shitcoiner anon, there is still time. Renounce vitali and embrace satoshi.

Checked, this. Gambling on shitcoins is great fun when you're 20 years old and trying to spin $1K into $100K but it loses its charm when you're older trying to invest serious money into something that could result in comfy, generational wealth. All roads lead to the king, eventually.

It makes sense to gamble on memes in times like these (I just bought some BOG in the other thread), but at the end of the day the game is stacking BTC.

Bitcoin maxi here. Not because I hate other projects but because I am a massive pussy that can’t handle the risk of holding anything else. There I said it.

>> No.58174334

I'm not a BTC maxi.

I only support coins that:

1. Are blockchains

2. Are proof of work

3. Have no inflation

4. Don't have a stupid ass name such as BITCOIN CASH TROLOLOL

Checked
I used to hold a basket of alts in the name of "diversification".
I remember having ARK, Nexus, PivX, Gôlem, and a whole bunch of other junk, along with the "long holds" BTC and some ETH.
Other than the last 2, everything eventually just dumps to the bottom and flatlines there after a pump.
So I learned to take profit early in pumps to not get left bagholding.
And so I sold my Ra1ßl0¢ks and ãńt5hårė5 extremely early. And there I realized, it's all gambling.
Only holding BTC has real value.
>>58174380
I used to hold some ETH too.
But then I learned the truth about it.
72% pre-mined (69% ICO + 12% actual premine) pic related
And it's so centralized around Vitalik and co., they have enough influence to rollback the chain (DAO hack) or even completely change the mining algo (PoW to PoS) or even the inflation rate.
It started looking like a real shitty coin to me, and not what cryptocurrency should be all about, unlike Bitcoin that has no leader after Satoshi's disappearance.
