How many people would actually be able to pull it off? And what high-value, specific skill and level would they require? And why would an employer not want to cage them for as much as possible?

>> No.58135072

Not really, even in a wagecuck corporate job you're only doing around 4 hours of actual work a day.
You would be self employed anyway, not like you have 4 hour shifts.
It's kind of a meme because it very rarely works out though. People fall for the meme that you get to live in a nice city while having a comfy WFH job making big bucks, this very rarely happens.

Read 4 Hour Work Week and Anything You Want by Derek Sivers. Throw out any other book and ignore any other book suggestions. Then start a business that solves a problem YOU have, and it’s basically guaranteed to be successful.

I have been considering entrepreneurship but haven't worked white collar yet and have no capital.

Do you mean traditional? Or online "hustles"?

Literally considering paying for Tate's Real World just to get a look into that world.

>> No.58135220

Traditional or online, either works. Online is ideally better but the most important thing is to solve a real problem you have and understand, that way you are basically guaranteed product market fit and can actually get traction. Online/digital is better ideally since you can grow it more easily and aren’t as limited but ultimately it doesn’t matter either way.

They’re memes but they can work. Barrier to entry is honestly too low though so it’s competitive. I’ve done 7 figs in ecomm but it’s dying and saas is the main source of income now.

4-hour work week requires already having a business or a lot of assets. 4-hour workday is actually achievable. You just have to get good at something niche enough for you to do it remotely and make six-figures, then start doing it part-time.
