Let's say when you put your xrp into the AMM trading pair, it was worth $10K.
If you had not used the AMM, your xrp would be worth $30 million.
But instead of that, use just get the value of what your xrp was worth when you put it in.
So you would only get $10K back.
Sure, you would have probably made some money off the fees, by providing liquidity for the time it was in the AMM.
But it would be nowhere close to the amount of money you lost out on.

I would feel suicidally depressed if something happened to me like that.
Imagine holding xrp for years, and then missing the moon because you went all in on AMM.
As far as I'm concerned, AMM is a trap right now.

If you look at all extension requests by the SEC, there wasn't a single one where Ripple objected; they're always fine with extensions for some reason. Lawyers cost a lot of money, and Ripple has already more than 200M on them, so it's in their best interest to move quickly. Yet, they're always okay with the SEC's requests. So, it might be a liquidity crisis, stock collapse, dollar crash, and then the Fed uses XRPL to fix the economy, and everyone is happy, and Ripple is the winner.
