The way I see it as this....

Either Ryan Cohen actually does something to address the blatant attacks on the stock, or the she's continue to tank the price. If the latter, it will continue down to $5 next year. Then I will buy.

The price rises to say $22 and I can still buy in then to lower my average, Ryan Cohen still won't be doing anything to address shorts so it will either hover around there.


With this play I really don't see the benefit in averaging down.

Agreed. But my point is, there is nothing stopping the SHF continuing to lower the price as that's what they need to happen YOY. Which is why previous behavior tells me that Ryan Cohen is not going to address the shorting, so will just continue to improve the companies revenue etc. Which will give the SHF the ability to short it to $5. By that point I think DRS numbers will probably be close to max.

Even if it’s technically legal, it’s unorthodox and the shorts could tie him up in court for years fighting it saying he’s intentionally trying to cause a squeeze. On the other hand, turning the company around and making it possible to issue cash dividends is completely normal, lots of companies do it. Shorts would have no grounds to fight him on it.
