The missing piece of the God Protocol. Every Smart Contract has intended interactions 'per user' and there has been no way to verify this until now:

https://twitter.com/chainlink/status/1604859606156599296

https://chainlinktoday.com/everest-provides-identity-data-via-chainlink-network-to-support-new-web3-use-cases/

Novel Identity is just as needed as Decentralized Oracles for blockchain to function properly. No matter how decentralized your Oracles are Smart Contracts can still be exploited & gamed outside of intended design by the simple act of creating a second/third/thousandth wallet.
Chainlink hasnt been able to solve this either on it's own. Case and point:

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/chainlink-whale-oldwhite-used-more-202258907.html

With Everest's biometric key based wallet design a user can only make a single wallet, and then via the Identity Oracle can bridge the data proving their individuality + proof of human cross-chain & handshaking with a user's other wallets.

From this you could for example run an airdrop.
10,000 drops available: 1 airdrop claim per user.
>User claims Airdop with Metamask wallet #1
>User handshakes Metamask #1 with their Everwallet
>Smart Contract verifies they are an individual human
>User recieves their airdrop

>Same user tries to claim airdrop with Metamask Wallet #2
>User handshakes Metamask #2 with their Everwallet
>Smart Contract can tell they have already claimed the airdrop
>Rejected

>Airdrop is now secure from being extracted by a Sybil Exploit.
>With the exploit removed the drop holds its value

1 Link = 1 ID

Chainlink is currently like having an Internet except the Home PC doesn't exist to use it.

Individual people NEED to become Data Points to properly interact with Smart Contracts or else the network will be Sybil attacked. (Using multiple wallets to game a Smart Contract to one's favor)

Sergey Once Said: There is a very large Universe of Usecases looking to be connected to front ends that prove who somebody is.

Prove who somebody is = Everest
and you can access that large Universe of Usecases = Chainlink

The EverID wallet already provides Identity and proof of Unique human with it's biometric design.

Identities can be directly queried via Everest's Chainlink Node:
https://developer.everest.org/#everest-identity-oracle

All that is missing is Everest's pending Identity Widget to easily onboard & query users, from any website/app. which will also be able to verify Social Media Accounts. (Social Media verification will go a long way helping Chainlink Functions because Web2 Data/ is corrupt, full of bots/multi=accounts making false interaction data)

EU passed a bill requiring KYC/AML + Identity Verification for all payments to crypto services over 1000 Euro:
https://www.coindesk.com/policy/2023/03/27/eu-lawmakers-to-vote-on-limited-ban-on-self-hosted-crypto-payments/
>Under the current proposal, traders would be forbidden from making or accepting anonymous crypto transfers over 1,000 euros (US$1,080)
> If the customer's identity can be verified or if a regulated crypto provider is involved, the transaction would be allowed.
>Crypto transfers among private individuals – such as large payments between two friends – would still be allowed. (Just be careful not to be friends with any arms traders)

Everest is the ONLY provider that makes meeting these requirements available as an embeddable service for others. In short term most of the industry will need to implement Everest.
>"But shill there are 100s of KYC providers. LMAO even"
Identity verification is required. These KYC providers don't match the user to their Identification, honeypot for fraud. Everest's biometric wallet creation limits to 1 per user & matches the user's face to their ID.
>"Le X DID can do something like that"
Great, are they licensed to provide KYC globally? No they arent. Banking institutes wont accept the risk of a bad KYC from a random provider. Everest is certified to provide via its MFSA license, Le X DID can meet standards by partnering with Everest.
>"Dapps will never have to comply with this they are anonymous!"
You think the regulators don't know where the developers live? Tornado Cash was ripped apart with Devs tossed in jail within hours. The Data Act was passed, they fall under these rules.

Everest has already won the regulation battle before the battle was fought.

Everest and DECO compliment each other because regulated institutions won't accept kyc that consists only of credential sharing, no matter how many layers of fancy zkp is wrapped around the credential.

>> No.58114370

>>58114298
You need to think of DECO more as a delivery vehicle and not the actual identity itself. Chainlink is valuable because it is the connection and banks will plug in, but there are a whole separate set of regulatory concerns that go into compliance which currently costs the banks a lot of money and are a huge liability/hassle. Chainlink doesn't want to bother dealing with the risk. That's why a company like Everest is ahead of the curve, we are moving to a model where your actual identity (biometrics and related things that are much harder to fake than a gov document) will be needed to fit within financial risk profiles for an economy running on a blockchain. So there will be a separate identity layer run by an entity who assumes all the risk and turns compliance into a profitable thing for banks and corporations instead of a money sink.

It also allows the user to actually own their own data as well, but that's a separate topic.
