uniswap lets you change the chain your on so you can buy avax coins, eth coins, base coins, etc from THEIR RESPECTIVE CHAINS.
Whereas cross chain swapping is a singular dapp where you dont have to change the chain your on and you can buy crosschain. For example, you have ETH on erc-20 but want to buy a shitcoin on avax. Instead of bridging you can simply utilize a crosschain swap and buy the shitcoin with your eth, it all auto converts in a multi tx process.
