The only delay we've had was in December, and it was to make sure everything was in the best shape before sending it over. It's kinda like steam/newgrounds. Phase 1 will be WebGL games which are in browser only so you couldn't use Steam for that, but later the team will probably work on distribution (mentioned once in an AMA). I think it's a good platform for indie devs to generate revenue because there isn't much to be made for most from bigger platforms due to all the competition from big publishers and large platform cut. Indie devs get a really big chunk of the revenue, can get free hosting, and the revenue distribution and deflationary tokenomics are really good for the arcade. If Coinbase backs them up, that will also lend their platform a lot of credence. So basically, devs can compile their game to WebGL for free, host it on the arcade for free, and get paid much better and get more recognition from anyone else.
