UUUU is somewhat of a meme and a lot of their industry is rare earth elements instead of uranium. Thankfully you bought at the lower end of the range. SRUUF is for U price speculation and URNM gives you foreign exposure (Kazatomprom). UEC is the better domestic company (i swapped my 4U to UEC end of last year) and others have said Cameco is good (i own none).

I made money buying NVDA and DELL option, as well as ORCL. I never over leveraged and supplemented buying shares of CLS and other slow climbers. I got greedy and went all in on options this week on NVDA and it was the week the gravy train came to a halt. My ADBE calls went the other way, and I pretty much lost everything aside from around 3-4k worth of shares in my account. I sold all my long dated options and LEAPS (steady slow climbers) to get greedy in NVDA and it killed me. Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck what a dumb fucking baggie

I guess I am? I'm talking longterm, 5+ year holds. I would just never sell unless I'm positive compared to when I bought.

I'm pretty risk-averse. I only started investing in 2018. Since then I've pretty much bought AMD, NTDOY, MSFT, TSLA, and DIS.

Bought 15 shares AMD at $85, sold at $175.

Bought 3 TSLA at $400-something, sold at $700-something.

MSFT has doubled in value since I bought it. DIS has eaten shit, but I actually expect them to rebound eventually (maybe by the time they get X-Men capeshit and Secret Wars out).

NTDOY will surge with the Switch 2, but I don't know if I ever want to sell it.

If the red continues, you're gonna have a chance to get a nice dip. If the red doesn't continue, you can get back into your calls next week or next month.

I wanted to buy stock in Canva years ago, but they still haven't IPO'd.

Canva is going to keep eating Adobe's lunch when it comes to the "graphic design that's simple enough for Betty the social media manager to do" — why hire someone with a graphic design degree who has spent years learning these programs (and pay $30/month for their Adobe sub) when you can just drop $200 per YEAR on Canva Pro and have any idiot shit out decent social graphics?

The reality of the last decade of DEI is that we're now coming up on an emperor-has-no-clothes moment simultaneously across all areas of private industry and government. All of our decision makers in any position of power are totally incompetent, and this trend is only worsening with time. The system is vulnerable to total collapse by increasingly smaller unforeseen events, as our "leaders" become less and less competent. In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king.

I can't out perform a single computer from 1971 on any math problem over 2 characters. If the marker is a computer pretending to talk with me, that shit was happening 30 years ago. It doesn't make sense to chart the S&P on an inflation adjusted basis since the S&P committee doesn't take inflation into account when picking companies for inclusion. If they did the index would be very different since a lot of companies wouldn't make the profitability cut. Make your own index similar to the S&P except accounting for inflation and see how that chart would look. I bet it wouldn't be flat.

Full-on bankruptcy? Usually equity investors are wiped out, paid out a janny paycheck per share. People holding the company's bonds will usually get some fraction of the liquidation value.

In SAVE's case, you're hoping somebody (not JBLU) offers to buy them out for more than that. However considering it's on a direct flight to Bankruptcyville, those companies will probably hold off until the last second when they can buy the negro airline for pennies on the dollar.

So we have three options with the FOMC. 1) They keep rates the same and say the same thing again, "we're going to wait for more data to determine policy down the road" 2) They cut rates or 3) They raise rates.

3 absolutely is not happening. 1 just returns us to the status quo that has allowed everything to moon for 4 months. 2 allows all the companies that have been mooning to borrow even more money at lower rates. What's the bear thesis??

>for 3.5 peak hours, 1.2 kw per hour draw @ 24 hours that's 500square feet to pack enough into your batteries.
We can fit 3times the necessary power per average US home, but let's say it's cut in half, only 850 square feet are facing south.
That's still enough excess in every two homes to power a third, meaning every 6 homes can power 9.
Should we keep going? Because CLNE is doing brap-gas, legit. Honda generators can be tuned to run brap gas. And those little fuckers fit in a backpack and can run my fridge. If I plan well enough, I can use the heat from the exhaust to help heat the house.

I live in Jew York and the price in the photo is accurate. Whats more concerning is that regional price variation had become this intense. I haven’t watch TV in a decade but can the ads even show a price on a national level anymore?

>>58007537
I’m very serious when I say that we are entering a 5 year bull market solely because of how long they ran the money printers since 2020. Its all an illusion. We see growth when the numbers are just catching up with reality. Speaking of which I haven’t bought gold or silver in years, I should probably do that

>With a decent translation you can run code for ChatGPT on a server stack from 1995.
no you cannot, it takes many gigabytes of RAM to have the model in memory all at once and do the operations quickly with the GPUs. You could run it on a very old computer if you swap to disk, sure, but that would mean it's (conservatively) 1000x slower, and even MORE expensive.

>when most of what it's being asked to do is write middle school papers?
you're lacking vision

Don't get me wrong NVDA is overbought. I sold my shit last week at 915 and I'm happy. But LLMs and generative AI are here to stay and will be a big deal (tm). MSFT is a good bet, picture fucking related.
