What's going to happen with the Reddit IPO?

Reddit coins will moon. Donuts has pumped 300% in a day already, Cone has tripled in price since lasth month and Moons are next.

It will probably stay around valuation, maybe pump 20% because they agreed to sell data to train AI.

I am more bullish on PLEBBIT (a serverless, adminless, p2p alternative) though. Reddit banned most of the communities I liked and biz jannies are testing my patience.

IDK, but I thinking of sitting the IPO out.
I have 7 days left to decide. Apparently I'm allowed to throw up a bit over $300k at it.
Ah, what to do, what to do.

It will go screaming up not long after launch and then all the initial investors will rugpull and it will crash hard slightly below initial valuation. It will slowly bleed from that point, crab, then begin a long but steady recovery that will ultimately surpass the initial valuation price. Just like every other overhyped big tech stock of the last decade.

Redditors will jump at the chance to own a portion of their favorite website

Yeah, I was surprised to see there this is no lockup period whatsoever.
Whoever buys shares in the IPO, be they institutions or random redditors, can sell them the moment they land in their account.
Combine that with the expectation of a pump and dump on IPO day, and it could easily turn into a rush to sell first.

I think it will lead to socialfi aka unstoppable social media as a narrative. Who wants to be an AI dataset when you can get in on the early network effect of a new unstoppable social media without an owner, centralized server, advertisements, account, or data mine? The IPO will mark the peak and decline of Reddit and the continued rise of Plebbit. Don’t believe? Just watch.

the site loses money, so unless somebody is trying to train an AI to be as much of a lisping fag as possible, there is little use for the data

No one cares about that plebbit scam. The demos so slow. Maybe if developers optimise the client and it gets faster then mass adoption will play out.
