This but unironically, except for the 30-year mortgage. I just wanted the same chance my parents and grandparents got: Work a job out of school that turns into a career and a house that you own by the time you're in your mid 30s. Somehow that turned in to work a job and use the money you make to invest in promising stocks that would MAYBE allow you to own a home by your mid 30s if you invested carefully. And somehow THAT turned in to full-on gambling your savings on Internet funny money so that you can at least have a mortgage by your mid-30s.

Don't get me wrong, I'm invested in crypto, and I believe that it's one of your only opportunities to generate wealth in the modern day, but I just wish that it wasn't one of the ONLY ways. I just wanted to make an honest living, man.
