57968657 No.57968657 [Reply] [Original]

Last couple of weeks I've been following and investing in around 100 tokens.
Can't really figure out a way to hit the gainers. What has been my experience:

>new token with high locked liquidity pool still rug pulls after a 50%
>tokens under project with tg, website and twitter on dexscanner still rug pull after a slow 50% pump.
>token pumps 50% and then is forgot and nothing ever happens after that.
>legit long term projects are crabbing until forever.
>community take overs are just people damage controlling and shilling dead tokens.

Even if I'm losing a couple bucks with every rug pull, it makes no sense if I'm never hitting a 100x

>> No.57969116

yeah its impossible, you just have to take any small profit you can as soon as possible cos literally every coin will rug you. the coins that go over 1-2m mcap (or more) are impossible to predict, everything will rug by the time it gets to 100k mcap.

no idea, but sell any "community takeover" pumps. if you can get out break even its a blessing

i only lose money but taking out initials after a 2x is probably safest

Yeah, you can do that, but not as frequently and easily as people make it out to be. I got a 200x out of Barron before it rugged, but that one was handed to us here on /biz/ at 2k marketcap.

If you didn't buy it when it went for like 20 bucks a token it's over. Literally don't bother with shitcoins made with it or projects in general they all suck dick and either fade into imminent obscurity or rug. Literally the only way I'm 'planning' to profit off of this shit is with satoshisync and their BTC inscriptions that are EVM agnostic so you can trade it all on Solana as well. Maybe something good will come out of that, eventually.

This is why investing in these rugcoins doesn't really work. Don't be fooled by some lucky bastard that got a 100x - 99% of these coins never go anywhere and are quickly forgotten.

>> No.57971643

>> No.57971652

>>57971591
Basically what happens is when people make a trade between the two assets you are providing liquidity for, a transaction fee is generated which gets distributed proportionally to all the participants in the pool. So you make money from that and then just price action between the assets you hold. There's not really a minimum though.

How stupid is it to go to "Live New Pairs" on dextools and just pick one that looks legit enough, early enough, and put $100 on it. By legit enough I mean it has liquidity and some pool variation.

>> No.57971775

>>57971523
To farm you have to provide liquidity pairs? So have to own each token for a pair right? If token say goes from $.70 to $.65 over a week’s time you lose? Does token have to rise in order to make money?

>> No.57973066

>>57971686
I lost 2000 dollars in a week trying it on with new pairs, you cannot predict anything on this chain, every coin I think fits the narrative or the meta or has a good team fucking rugs or dies whilst a random coin just called 'snake' or something will soar to 5mil

>> No.57973144

>>57973066

As an experiment, I just tried it with a random coin that was only an hour old that had a ton of inflow/outflow and pocketed 2x. It is still going up but I am just using this to collect data. My criteria was: 1) It has an icon in dextools, somebody at least gives enough of a shit to make that 2) Under 1M market cap for upward potential 3) >500 holders 4) no major dump in the graph yet. 5) catchy / english-coherent name

Going to keep practicing to see if I can get a feel for what is/isn't a rug. They all eventually rug, but you know what I mean.

Yeah one of the risks is impermanent loss but the fees generated can help cope a little.

>> No.57974709

It’s just gambling. I hit a big win on Boden and Barron. I also have an ai sol call bot which picks winners quite often. And there’s a sol auto buy bot releasing soon. Best bet is to take initial out at x2 and let it ride. Most go to zero but some just run.

Right now I have a bit in solana bin Laden because it makes me laugh.
