eRLC is 100% dead as well. You cannot swap anymore. Even the team themselves converted their eRLC back to RLC lmao. They had an old roadmap that got converted into trello that included the public worker pool, which then had it. It was removed when they started advertising the limited workerpass

Here Gilles actually says that they already did a few experiments around it (previous times the worker pools were open) and that it's working. While also pointing out that the challenge is to guarantee work for the pools, which he calls a SUSTAINABLE PUBLIC WORKER POOL. emphasis on the sustainable part. In the previous cases iExec provided all the tasks, now they want a public worker pool, which is SUSTAINABLE, therefore I guess they won't provide tasks, which means it's not a test. Gilles also says "sustainable in the sense that it's NOT ONLY IEXEC THAT PROVIDES THE TASKS". Their wording changed in the sense that they want a public working pool that is sustainable without them. Their wording is different, they're actually talking about sustainability and apps using the public worker pools
