Yes. Bitcoin had been crabbing at 69k for a week, but the second Link breaks out, Bitcoin dumps and then pumps.

I don't know about that.. BTC mirrored the CL breakout with a time delay. That can't be a coincidence, not calling suppression, but clearly there are more to the story.

They’re just telling you the truth. You can’t have a token go up insane amounts with that kind of fee structure. It’ll make it unusable. It has to stay cheap to keep the network cheap.

If that's a real screenshot, then someone with zero reading comprehension tried to paraphrase Chainlink's terms.

It's not the appreciation of the Link token that inflates the cost of CL services, it's demand for CL services that inflates the cost of CL services. The token price has nothing to do with it.
It has 18 decimals, it could be a quadrillion and it would still be perfectly usable.

You absolutely can: 18 decimals.
Link could pump to 1 trillion in a split second, and you could still send someone 1 cent worth of Link.

They are.

Here's what Chainlink's terms say:
>If the Services and/or the Chainlink Network are rapidly adopted, the demand for transaction processing and distributed application computations could rise dramatically and at a pace that exceeds the rate with which Chainlink services can be provided.
>Under such a scenario, the Services and Chainlink Network could become destabilized, due to the increased cost of running distributed applications.

It's demand for CL services that would inflate the cost of CL services, much like how L1s can get congested during high traffic. The token price has literally nothing to do with it.

Unfortunately you aren't gonna make it with large cap utility tokens. To give a concrete example, I follow a small cap utility token that just went up from 0.004337 to 0.00439 on a 5k buy because the token has ~40m mc. If the token has a lot of volume (say > 500k) and buying pressure is positive, it will keep going up.

Link just doesn't have the tokenomics to make it work. You need 5-6 digit buys to move link a tiny percentage, and that's not gonna happen much. Don't get me wrong you will go up, but not by huge 10x.

You wanna buy small cap utility tokens with good tokenomics, nice token distribution, etc that's at a low price and has enough marketing to start generating volume.

>Prices are not dynamic.
They absolutely are. You're paying for everything in Link tokens, including destination chain gas.
Read this for instance: https://docs.chain.link/chainlink-automation/overview/automation-economics

It has entire calculations explaining how prices are dynamic.

Keep reading lol. That's not the only gas amount in the calculation.

Also ask yourself: why would they give you formula for calculating the fee in Link tokens if it's not dynamic and variable?
You should be able to solve this.

>> No.57945608

So you actually are retarded. All other items are for the gas on the host chain. This is the only part that goes to the NODES. Fucking retard

And you pay for them in Link tokens. See pic, the outcome of the formula is the Link that was deducted from the user's balance.

And that's just one example of Link fees being dynamic.
There's also the fact that node rewards fluctuate with Link's USD price.

what the fuck are you even talking about? Its about how much you NEED to pay for the services provided OR to secure your smart contract via staking.
