As a fellow mortgage owner, it's really not healthy to keep checking in on what zillow says your equity is. Unless you have a shitty interest rate. Ignoring the outlandish price of that house, I recommend continually improving it one weekend project at a time. Then when the conditions are right, look to sell in a three-year window. Personally I'm looking forward to having a few acres with a nice modest house. Not sure how close I want to be to people but I do not want to live in the boonies or the city.
