Most these companies are adapting. PM has vape investments + Xyn (big lawsuit at them marketing xyn to kids), RJR has vape investments + camel snus, Altria is the one who fucked up only investing in Juul and Vuse while China dominates hw and juice markets for vapers.
all the major tobacco companies are pushing for some kind of injuction on chink vape products for circumventing the juul ban laws with disposables (which they also circumvented but congress is invested in them)
there's 2 big bills, a house bill 1006 (dumb big brother bluetooth age verification) that may get signed and a competing senate bill 1007 that I dont think is past senate yet
They are adapting to the changing nicotine market, some better than others. they need more cash stockpiles to get it done and to stop paying divis.
All companies should be stopping divis rn but your reply seemed to only be concerned with big tobacco-- which is in a healthier state than most banks.

It's a different style of cheese steak. Philly style isn't a "go to the restaurant, sit down, order a sandwich, eat it at the table" kind of deal. It's more like "roll up to window, order a cheese steak, get it, eat it while you're doing other important things". It's for people who are busy and got shit to fucking do and need protein and calories and need it taste fucking delicious while on the move. It's why investors from the Philly area always rank high in the global metrics (look up how many investment funds/firms are based around Philly). While everyone else is going to their sit down lunch, Philly traders are pounding down cheese steaks and Yuenglings in front of their Bloomberg Terminals fucking making it.

I was an army brat and growing up I noticed the tobacco vending machines were how most purchased and that a lot of the locals would ask americans to buy american ciggs from the shopette for them (illegal but enlisted men have families to feed on a shit income)
When I visit Italy these days I buy cigars from a local place (imports ofc and sometimes the mela juul pods if in stock). I see americans going in and out of the local vape shop near posts though.

I mean it is what it is, I get it. I was into BBBY last year, not as a perma-baggie but trying to time the runups and had mixed success with options. I will say that you're probably better off liquidating all that AMC and not trying to sell calls/puts and go into something else altogether. I think all those circa-2021 meme tickers are just continuing on name alone, and brick and mortar stores in general (I know its a movie theater) don't strike me as good long holds. Not trying to be a dick, just saying you could make a nice iron condor on a flat stock, or buy a few nice SMCI calls for what you got.

Good luck dude.

is NYCB failing a problem for the market how big is this bank?

>"New York Community Bancorp, Inc. (NYCB) is a relatively large bank, particularly in terms of assets and deposits. However, its size can vary depending on market conditions, mergers, acquisitions, and other factors.
NYCB is a bank holding company headquartered in Westbury, New York. It operates through its banking subsidiary, New York Community Bank, which provides banking products and services to consumers and businesses primarily in the New York metropolitan area, as well as in Florida, Ohio, and Arizona.
While NYCB is not among the largest banks in the United States in terms of total assets compared to national banking giants like JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, or Wells Fargo, it is considered a significant player in the regional banking sector, particularly in the markets it serves."

would you be agreeable to the inference that job losses (no more deposits meaning people withdraw funds to not get hit with fees for not having an income) and delinquencies in office space are the main cause?

immigrants not depositing their stipends (apparently cashing out and living in cash-renting basements and inactive storefronts + infinite other factors certainly are bleeding the bank, both those 2 seem like the main causes.

Gonna take my wife to see Dune part 2 later today in IMAX.

But she pointed something out; at the same theater, they usually do these weird 'kid's movie' showings and they play old ass classics. This week they are doing the Land Before Time. A ticket is $5 now. I swear to god, the ticket prices for those types of showings were dirt cheap, like $1 or $2 tops. What the fuck happened?? Inflation going up again?

fun fact pepperoni is up to 80% fat
>A 1-ounce (28-gram) slice of pepperoni contains approximately 12.2 grams of fat12. This means that about 79.3% of the calories in pepperoni come from fat1. The breakdown of fat types in pepperoni is as follows: Saturated fat: Approximately 4.2 grams per slice. Monounsaturated fat: About 4.8 grams per slice. Polyunsaturated fat: Around 1 gram per slice. Trans fat: Approximately 0.5 grams per slice1. Keep in mind that these values are approximate and can vary based on the specific product.

so cheese has much more protein which in laymens term protein > fats for caloric intake.

Very interesting what's happening. Someone said $46 is the new support for SOXL. That appears to be. Leveraged ETF so you can't use it for breakouts, but it is in a clear bull trend, obviously.

Every double top gets rejected. Every month or so it tries again. It's trying it again now. This is what it will look like if it succeed. But it most likely won't. I just don't think it's smart to give up on trades if you bought the wrong options or shares on the first try.

That doesn't mean I'm shorting aggressively here, but I'm certainly waiting for it like everyone else. Support is $46 with a hypothetical double-top scenario resulting in $35 by next Tuesday.

More likely it will stop dumping and turn around at $40 (or $46 and it already has turned around) so plan accordingly and don't swing for the fences. Bought 2 far OTM puts today.

I make money off this. I lost money during the breakout of the Israel War because I was selling covered calls while the Jews threatened World War III.

But then I made it back with my TA. It was about 33% of my holdings and I'm still positive, making well-managed trades, so I suppose you should type with capitals at the beginning of your sentence

I can't wait to see what occurs.

I consistently beat most of the major indices on a given day by holding about 2/3rds of my portfolio in SJPA, CSCA, SAUS, VMIG and NATP. I'll never become truly rich from doing this but I'll beat the planet Earth.

nigger, you're buying options on a 3x leveraged ETF, you're a gambling degenerate who believes drawing meme lines on the wrong chart is doing "well-managed trades"

K buddy. You seem mad. Maybe took some losses. I bought options with a strict budget of $200 dollars and I'm holding until I hit my stop loss. You are mad as fuck. Did your degree backfire? Not making the best trades? Come on. Ignore me, nigger. We're on 4chan. There is something more wrong with you.

I've found TA doesn't work well on the bull/bear ETFs because the volume doesn't match price action. I don't recommend it.

TA doesn't work. If it appears to work, it's only because the indicators happen to fit the data being tested.

If indicators (and fundamentals) worked consistently, no people would ever lose money in the stock market.
