Seriously FUCK this piece of shit. I locked in the price back in early 2022, thought I was so smart, laughed at everyone else bleeding out during the rest of 2022.

But now I can't unlock the price. Turns out certain batches of Trezors have a hardware defect that prevents users from unlocking. So now I'm fucking sitting here missing out on my dreams, watching the price skyrocket without me.

Imagine thinking a hardware wallet has the ability to lock a price. Its not a mortgage contract, idiot.

Same thing happened to me. I just sold 100 bitcoin for $2,000 a piece because I can’t get price unlock feature to work.

It's not a hardware defect you fucking idiot. You just used the default 5 year lock period. Read the documentation before playing with whole coins like that.

just do what I do, have your key laser etched onto a small piece of a titanium. only a microscope can read it(new iphones can read out some). Then implant said titanium sub-dermal. If your in a bind cut it out and load up your wallet.

Wallets cannot be locked like that. If you have the key (phrase) you can unlock it with another hw wallet or sw wallet. There is no lock feature on the blockchain.

The major innovation was Bitcoin Futures contracts. With those and discreet log contracts hardware wallets can lock prices. Lock it now and if the price falls to $40k you can unlock it and get a free $20k. If the price goes up, just don’t exercise it. And best of all, it’s free with the hww purchase.

Maybe learn what’s changed in Bitcoin since you were in PMITA prison, eh bub?

It’s not a hardware glitch, it’s by design. When market price is higher than lock price you have to pay an “unlocking tax” equivalent to 33% of the difference of current market value vs locked value.
There’s an official trezor address you can send the unlocking fee to, once you’ve done that your coins will be unlocked to current market value after 1-2 hours. Read the manual.

Older trezors had a feature where you could lock your Bitcoin price to the daily average, protecting yourself from drops. Other trezors users have no choice but to pay your locked price.

There is STILL a lot of unclaimed etherium on the blockchain leftover from the merger. I’m making a killing claiming these coins
