Let it out anon.
You lost a little money. Life goes on. People care about you. You'll make it back.

>> No.57858679

No one cares about me. I lost a decent amount of money. Every other aspect of my life is in shambles except for physical health as far as I know since I eat well and go to the gym 5 days a week. I read regularly as well which is also nice since it makes me feel less lonely. But other than that, I'm a fairly disliked person and my performance in the market is almost everything to me. I am not well.

I haven’t been able to focus on my studies for the last 5 hours. I want to study but every time I do I check the chart not even 3 minutes later

When Pompey the Great fell from the greatest general that the greatest empire had ever seen down to having to seek shelter as a beggar on a fishing ship, he received his wife, Cornelia, on the shore. He said
>It behooves us, who are mortals born, to endure these events and to try fortune again. Neither is it any less possible to recover our former state than it was to fall from that into this.

Computer science. I’m also really tired and seeing the market plummet when I have so much at stake is not a good combination lol

Nice. When I was in college for my physics degree, the smartest guy I knew, my old roommate, was a computer science guy. The best piece of advice he ever gave me was this:
Prioritize sleep. If you don't get good sleep, nothing will go right. It doesn't matter if you show up late. It doesn't matter if the assignment is overdue. Get good sleep and your head will be clearer and you'll feel better about everything.

Yeah I’ve been really bad about it recently. Just too much bullshit going on. I guess this is what happens when you’re a “late bloomer”, trying to be good at guitar, programming, getting a job so I’m not fucked after I graduate, interview prep, etc. so late when everyone else was finding out what they wanted to do when they were 14. I guess figuring it out at 20 and sticking with it until (almost) 23 and finally starting to see the fruits of my labor is good but even then, it’s effected my health, sleep, friendships, etc. I’m glad I have an understanding girlfriend tho who is proud of me and a couple of cool people that I work with who are much older than me and try to mentor me, even tho everyone else in my life hates me

Focus on the positive anon. Having that good woman at your side can make all the difference. There have been times where I didn't know what I'd do if I didn't have my wife. When my own parents turned on me through COVID she was there with me in the rain.
>23 years old
Take it from a 29yo boomer. You're young; you can burn it all and start again and still have a normal, successful life. The fact that you're getting a CS degree puts you miles ahead of most people. When you finish and get a good job you'll see how little the money you stressed about today was.
Not sure if this is your type of guitar music, but playing this always calms me down and sets my mind at ease: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=WHcsHPK3Psk

Explain to me how something everyone knows about, expects, and can calculate the effects is NOT priced in.
>So you're saying we're gonna crash and housing will be more affordable, and everyone's wages will effectively scale up?
Yes. That is, if you still have a job.
>Not how ETFs work but nice try
If Wallstreet wants to short and or suppress the price, that's how they do it. Look at precious metals. Dollar to gold ratio would be like $20k, but it isn't, and will never be.

Gotta go but if anyone visits this thread later, give yourself a nice glass of water and remember that life is good. Yes, there are hard times, but we suffer through them because there's something out there worth fighting for. There is good in this messed up world. Fight for that good and never give up.

I'm in a similar boat anon. Check MSPUS chart. The dam is cracking. We are down 14% from ATH while the 2008 crash was a 23% drop from previous ATH... and the stock crash hasn't even happened. Two situations are possible.
1) crash and housing becomes affordable
2) hyperinflation and bitcoin moons
Play your cards right and you can't lose.

crypto and the grind is the only thing I have. when I’m not on this grind I literally want to rope. nothing else to live for. graduated college and have a decent job but it’s useless too me.

had the biggest crush on this new girl at my job. chick would literally wave at me and smile in the most excited way a week after we met. I make her laugh so easily and she extends our convos. feels like both of us want to never stop talking when we’re talking

found out she had a bf. dead inside. if I wasn’t for crypto I would have roped by now.

the escape this forum and telegram gives me is unmatched
