I'm just looking to get some idea of what's going on.

Before this run, I noted down some possibilities:
One last dump to 30k or 40k before halving. Post-halving comes a bullrun that goes into 2025. However, a manufactured event (i.e. cyber-attack) could cut the bullrun short. If not, then a September 2024 crash might occur.
Alternatively, hyperbitcoinization is occurring.
