57834275 No.57834275 [Reply] [Original]

As some of you may know, the FUDsisters loved to use wallach's dune dashboard to fud LINK revenue. That data has been incorrect for months, as it was only tracking transactions on the deprecated v1.0 version of CCIP.
Current version is v1.2 and well, see for yourselves. The dashboard is still not complete fully but the transactions now match ccip explorer. Cumulative revenue will break fudkeks when it's fixed.

The uppermost charts (cumulative) don't work yet, I suspect wallach is under orders not to reveal the data before Sergeys presentation on ccip revenue on 20th. I speculate some integrations are already using a private branch of v1.4 or v2.0 (depends how they name it), so even this does not contain all the transactions.

Not a shadow fork you imbecile, but we can't find the transactions unless chainlink labs tells us the router addresses. At least most of us can't from exploring the blockchain. Of course you wouldn't understand the technical aspects, as a nolinker brainlet.

but actually it's just a proprietary centralized network with all meaningful work being done on private repositories and only merged to public ones when they feel like it...
I don't think it's a bad strategy, but the hypocrisy is hilarious

>> No.57848209

>>57848158
Way to prove your own lack of technical understanding. Just because the router address is not announced by cll does not mean it's private or centralized. Those transactions can be found on the blockchain just like every other, we just don't _know_ the addresses of the routers, so there is no easy way to track them.

Nothing in crypto has been so sure and so safe; if you don't treat yourself to a sneaky little bag of link you deserve the pain that's coming.

In all seriousness, I can understand Chainlink's stance on this. By the time they drop new stuff, it will take copycats so long to reverse engineer it Chainlink will always stay ahead. What is it called when a project makes its source code freely available, but only after working on it in private repositories for a long time? Delayed open source?

>> No.57848418

Way to prove you have no real answers to chainlink labs' questionable practices by focusing on a strawman. CCIP is fully centralized because routers (as well as all other contracts) are fully controlled by contract owner, which is Chainlink Labs. They literally hold the keys to the whole network and could turn it off in 5 minutes if they feel like it, same is true for VRF, Automation and even feeds.

And just to reiterate, I don't think that's bad per se, I'm just commenting on the hypocrisy. Seems like Cumulative Revenue USD is working now (Cumulative Revenue LINK isn't). According to Wallach's dashboard, CCIP's revenue was $600k in February, which is double that of all previous months combined ($300k). It crossed $1m revenue yesterday. Curious to see if this explosive growth will continue in the coming months.

Does crypto count? I just checked https://cryptofees.info/ and ADA, with a marketcap of 27B, makes on average $18k a day in fees. This is less than CCIP's daily revenue has been for the past month if we are to believe Wallach's data.

Ripple is just plain sad, kek. $35b marketcap with $2.5k fees per day

Hmm so those sudden upticks could be V1.0 users being migrated to V1.2, not "true" growth. Would be interesting to see the actual growth but it's hard to tell now. Either way it's bullish as fuck, I hope this is not another error by the dune retard.

The general market rise is also just speculation.
