Yeah, I'm looking at a 30 year mortgage, but at this point I'm just expecting some kind of post-AGI mass bailout in 10 years or whatever.

Ai will cause the collapse of the modern workforce and cause mass unemployment.
>people will just need to get different jobs then
What jobs? Making people compete for an even more limited pool of jobs doesn't solve anything.

>> No.57806469

It'll take 50 to 100 years before anything will happen differently. Don't be a tranny faggot.

All AI is going to do is replace humans with robots. I will never support AI.

Okay, I'll bite.
Societal changes happen slowly, not exponentially. There will be AI chatbots and useless websites for another 10 to 15 years. Maybe in a decade or more, they'll be new advancements to help automate some things.

You, on the other hand, will never be a real woman. How does that feel? Does that "trigger" you?

>What jobs?
The wealthy upper class will need a subservent working class. Plenty of gig jobs will be available. Service industry will always be hiring. Perpetual war will provide plenty of opportunities.

Societal changes can happen incredibly fast. You'd know that if you weren't born yesterday

Software has never changed the world, only hardware changes the world. The technological revolution of the last decade was a hardware revolution, i.e. smartphones, wifi, cell phone infrastructure, satellites, etc. A vast ecosystem of hardware came into existence that made software possible. It is the epitome of the chicken and egg scenario, the chicken is hardware, the egg is software. Software only fulfills the potential of the hardware, not the other way around. Software is vapor, a lie, a suggestion, with infrequent but guaranteed failure rates at the level of hardware. The only reason software works at all is because the failure rate of the hardware has been reduced to very small levels.

All this to say, "AI" doesn't exist, we're just seeing heavy investment into Large Language Models currently. LLM's are highly inefficient, often inaccurate, and cumbersome. LLM's are an investor shell game, a parlor trick. LLM's will slowly fade out of fashion, people will use them less and less over the years as the hype wears off.

Global war is inevitable. Hardware is built for war. Software is just an excuse to design/build hardware during times of peace.

It’ll take the average mouth breathing retard out of the decision loop for a lot of white collar jobs. Those faggot ass buzzfeed articles and globalhomo art style pics can just be automated and dump the histrionic woman who demands way too much.
Blue collar stuff it’ll take out most need for precision work but he’ll still be collecting paychecks just in case something fucks up along the process.

You’ve clearly never actually studied history. Most people live static lives for hundreds to thousands of years between major technological revolutions, or major sociopolitical developments that changes their organization and what they do.
Most people were subsistence farmers since the Neolithic to the first Industrial Revolution.

>T. Has never had the 100 years war, the crusades, the Muslim conquests, the Protestant wars of faith cross his mind
To believe that waging perpetual war is a purely atheistic phenomenon is to be deliberately negligent

AGI will never happen. But let's pretend anyway, they'll find a way to make it woke like they did with GPT and Gemini
