i'd do the same thing you did. cashout 50%, store it in safer investments, and ideally earn passive income off dividend ETFs and grow those payments by either reinvesting, or saving for a few months and creating a business, product or service. the thing i struggle most with right now is that my attention is pulled into 1000 different directions. it's hard to focus that way and really develop a skillset, on top of having to devote most of my time and energy to a soulless copy-paste job. but if i could harness that energy, and time, without the cloud of work, or wondering where to find work, hanging over my head-- i could achieve greatness.

I heard about it because I hung around computer nerds in my twenties. They knew about crypto and I was pretty much a fly on the wall during their conversations. One was an actual miner on the side and another was just on the spectrum. I researched up-and-coming crypto projects and Ethereum caught my eye. The project was about 2 years old, so fairly young, and it had a clear roadmap for decentralized apps (seemed cool to me as a software dev) and censorship resistance. I think the biggest advice I can give to newfags as someone who is entering his third cycle is take fucking profits somewhere near the top. You aren’t gonna time it perfectly, it’s ok. Do not roundtrip under any circumstances. Sell half at least if you can’t stomach getting left behind. OP made wealth by taking profits and reinvesting.
